Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

I have no intention of using these boots for riding or cleaning stalls. I will use them for Winter Walk and forays in the forests and beaches shooting( photography) wildlife. I took them out for our first snowfall walk. They are comfortable and warn. It was 20 degrees and I wore only a dress weight alpaca sock. My feet were never cold. There was plenty room for me to wear a heavier weight sock. I did encounter some wet spots along the marsh and my feet were totally dry. I will note that these boots do not have lug soles, so they were slick walking up snow covered steep slopes. This is not a knock on these boots for me. I have Yaktrax Diamond grips and Kahtoola Micro Spikes- both fit over these beefier boot. I love the ease of slipping into with the optional pull tabs( which I didn ’ t need to use.). The last pair of “ rubber boots ” I owned were snug to pull on. The liner is great. I ’ m sure these will be what the doctor ordered for my Winter Adventures. I wear 10. 5 Wide typically. The 11 and Medium width were perfect.

I already own these boots without the safety toe and love them. These are no different aside of the break- in period. The non- steel toe were like house slippers from day one. These have taken a few weeks of wear to soften up and I am still having an issue with my left boot, but the right is great. They are extremely comfortable and easy to stand on most of the day. They run perfect to size and the steel toe is not invasive like other brands I have tried. I work in an environment that has a number of silicone based chemicals on the floor and it is slippery, but not in these boots! I have not even come close since I started wearing them. [ Like everything danner makes it is great leather. I rock a 13 wide in sneakers and got a 12 wide for this boot. It fit snug at first especially around the top arch of the foot. After about two weeks of breakin they are comfortable but tight enough to provide appropriate traction. I think after a couple months of molding they will be on the top for comfortability.

I received my boots 6- weeks ago and have worn them a dozen times building mountain bike trails in Northern California. The boots are very comfortable, have great traction and warm in cool weather. What I like best about the boots is that I am sure footed when working on steep grades, in mud, and in thick bushes. Plus having to hike in to get to a trail section may be over a mile which is no problem with these boots, just a joy splashing through rivers, muck, you name it.

I 've been buying these boots to wear for my landscaping business for as long as I can remember.( over 15 years?) They are comfortable after a day of brake in. I apply one coat of weather seal when I buy them. I wear them over 12 hours a day and they last about 6 to 8 months. I like that they are n't steel toes, and that the tread on the sole does n't disturb the soil very much, but has good traction. I like to buy two at a time so I can alternate wearing them. I have bought them for my helpers too.

I have had these boots for a week and used them at work everyday and have zero complaints as they are very comfortable and warm. my only complaint would be with the shipping company Purolator, they did n't deliver on time and miss routed the package then tried listing a weather delay between Edmonton and Yellowknife as another issue. when asked about the delay they could n't tell anything and there was nothing about weather delays on the Weather Network or Alberta511 Hwy info service.

Wrong size
They seem to be a size smaller than normal size. I have always wore a 9 1/2 in all my shoes and boots but they seem to fit like an 8 1/2. Other than the size difference, these seem to be some of the best built and great quality boots that I ’ ve purchased in a long time. Hopefully after I get the right size, they will last me a while.

Playing in the mud
So far so good! They were a little uncomfortable at first but after a week there are comfy. I wish the tongue was attached a like higher up the boot so you can stand in deeper water but other than that they work flawlessly! I ’ m a well driller and good boys are hard to find that hold up to the constant mud and water every day. George boots hold up better than anything I ’ ve slipped my foot in!

I bought these boots over a year ago. So far they have been pretty good. I work as a full time diesel technician and occasionally have to do landscaping and construction work and these boots have held up pretty well to everything I do. The oil, diesel, break cleaner, etc have not hurt the leather nor the stitches at all. I will say I am disappointed in the insoles, being that they only lasted me about 4 months. I have had to replace the insoles quite often but mainly because I do weigh about 255 lbs and have a very wide foot. Also the hook eyelet on my left boot broke after about 6 months as well. The water proof feature has been great even for being a lace up boot. I ’ ve been I some fairly deep water( nearly covering up the entire boot) and haven ’ t had any water go into these boots or the leather. All in all these boots have been a strong and sturdy boot for what I need them for. I ’ d recommend them highly since I haven ’ t had much issues with them besides the two mentioned and have found them super comfortable

I like the boots a lot but I ca n't wear them to work cause I thought I was getting the steal toe for my job since they pay for them. But I ended getting non steal toe cause I went with the soles with the imprint which I thought were steal toe also since they pop up while looking at the ones without the insoles printed. So! I decided on the imprinted ones took me a week before we noticed at work they were not! So! Ca n't wear them at work. Wish they would have been steel toe. Great comfortable boot though.

The question you should ask yourself is why you shouldn ’ t buy the Bull Run. The price comes in well under classic red wing and Chippewa boots and these are way more comfortable in my humble opinion. The sizing is fairly true to size with medium to thicker socks but I ’ d dize down 1/2 if wearing thin socks. I ’ m very stoked on these boots!
