I have no intention of using these boots for riding or cleaning stalls. I will use them for Winter Walk and forays in the forests and beaches shooting( photography) wildlife. I took them out for our first snowfall walk. They are comfortable and warn. It was 20 degrees and I wore only a dress weight alpaca sock. My feet were never cold. There was plenty room for me to wear a heavier weight sock. I did encounter some wet spots along the marsh and my feet were totally dry. I will note that these boots do not have lug soles, so they were slick walking up snow covered steep slopes. This is not a knock on these boots for me. I have Yaktrax Diamond grips and Kahtoola Micro Spikes- both fit over these beefier boot. I love the ease of slipping into with the optional pull tabs( which I didn ’ t need to use.). The last pair of “ rubber boots ” I owned were snug to pull on. The liner is great. I ’ m sure these will be what the doctor ordered for my Winter Adventures. I wear 10. 5 Wide typically. The 11 and Medium width were perfect.

Muck really knocked it out of the park with this boot. The fit is great, but the function is top shelf! If you ’ re riding in the winter and need a bit of warmth these are the only way to go. I can put my spurs on them. They slide in and out of a stirrup well. I really hope this becomes one of Muck ’s mainstay boots. It ’s really well built and well designed.

I have several different brands and types of this kind of boot and these are the best of them all. Ended up having to wear them for a week straight for 9+ hours and did n't bother me a bit. I bough these boots due to the fact that with the size of my calf 's it is hard for me to remove regular muck boots. I have had these boots for a week and used them at work everyday and have zero complaints as they are very comfortable and warm. my only complaint would be with the shipping company Purolator, they did n't deliver on time and miss routed the package then tried listing a weather delay between Edmonton and Yellowknife as another issue. when asked about the delay they could n't tell anything and there was nothing about weather delays on the Weather Network or Alberta511 Hwy info service.

I ’ m on my second Canadian winter with these. Very warm, very comfortable. They ’ re tall, almost up to my knee, and fit snug around my leg( though not “ tight ”) so as not to have huge gaps where snow can get in. The Vibram Ice sole works — good traction on slippery surfaces. Note, however, these boots are not light, nor are they flexible like cheap boots — there ’ ll be no trips strolling in the mall with these. These are serious boots for serious cold.

I really like these so far but, I wish they were offered in a different color. I get made fun of quite regularly for wearing them. I normally wear a size 12 and ordered a size 11. The insole could be improved a little as well as my feet get tired after wearing them for 9 or more hours a day.
