Love the feel and flight. ... This ball stops where I need it to stop, provides the right amount of control out of a green- side bunker and/or a delicate flop, and the feel coming off the putter face is

I have been a competitive golfer for going on 30- years and for 29 of those years only played with Titleist products. From the Balata 100 to the Pro- V1- I have hit them all recreationally and competitively, and while always an outstanding product, I think I have found a ball that will take them out of my bag for awhile. The Wilson Staff has everything I look for in a ball, it has the right flight( mid- high mid), has the right RPM's for delivering consistency off the tee and around the green but the selling point for me( and why I think it is the ball for me) is the danged consistency 100- yds and in. This ball stops where I need it to stop, provides the right amount of control out of a green- side bunker and/or a delicate flop, and the feel coming off the putter face is butter. This is a good/great golf ball and I would encourage anyone out there looking for an outstanding ball to elevate your game, this might be the one for you.

I ’ ve played numerous “ tour ” balls because I love to experiment from time to time. The Bridgestone BRXS and Z Star are my favorites hands down, however I seen a review on this ball and it got me curious. First day I went out with it, played like crap however it was my first day in weeks of playing so I went back out this morning. WOW. This ball ROCKETS off the face of the club, like nothing I ’ ve ever seen. It ’s a firm ball however, I had to check and see if I was playing a 80 compression ball it felt soft( in a good way!) I was hitting 7- 10 yards further on my drives, and my iron play this ball would go. I absolutely love putting with it, it ’s so true to roll it ’s insane. Chipping feels incredible however I thought it would have more check up, but my chipping isn ’ t pro level so take that into consideration. All in all, I really like the ball. I think for$ 49. 99 it ’s a good price. If Wilson priced these down even to$ 44. 99 or offered bundle deals, it ’ d be my permanent gamer. Don ’ t sleep on Wilson, it ’s a great ball. It ’s definitely one of my top choices.

I started playing these balls, when a pro recommended them. I do n't foresee myself playing anything else. The feel is comparable to a TP5 in my opinion.

I do n't think the other reviewers played this golf ball because it is an excellent overall ball. I have a ball speed between 150 to 165 mph and this ball is 3 to 5 yards longer than my current ProV1. The ball tracks true in head and side winds and has an excellent, high flight that I love. Around the greens the ball checks easily on really short chips but also stops with a yard or two of roll out when I attack the pin. The feel is outstanding from tee to green. I think people are reacting to a price point without ever playing the ball. If you care about improving your game buying good equipment is an investment, not a cost. Dropping strokes off my scorecard is important to me and the LA Golf Ball helped me do that. I think it is worth every penny.

Great ball, I do n't think the people that gave this ball a negative review actually played the ball. This ball does a lot of great things! I am amazed at how well they made this. The only draw back is the price tag vs the prov1x 1) Great durability hitting trees, cart path or sand did n't effect the cover at all. 2) spins great on greens. Can check just as good as prov1x 3) feels good off the putter. 4) I felt the ball was more forgiving off the tee with the driver than prox1x 5) better distance with Irons than prov1x. 6) I flight higher ball flight than prov1x. 7) felts about the same in ball flight as prov1x

Great ball. Feels like a pv1x off the tee and pv1 on the green. Worth it imo.

I love these balls. Great distance. A lot of spin on the greens… The only drawback I feel is one the price… They are the most expensive ball out there right now. And then I do feel they scuff and Mark up easily.. I don ’ t think they ’ re quite as resilient as some other balls. But I love them and I ’ ve played them for several rounds. It may be hard to step away from them.
Staff model golf balls are designed for advanced players who seek precision and control in their game. They typically feature a softer feel and enhanced spin capabilities, allowing for better performance on the greens. Unlike standard golf balls, staff models often incorporate advanced technology to optimize distance and accuracy.
Staff model golf balls are often made with high-quality materials that enhance performance, such as urethane covers for improved spin and control. The core is usually designed to provide optimal energy transfer, contributing to distance and feel. These materials are selected to meet the demands of skilled golfers looking for a competitive edge.
While staff model golf balls are primarily designed for advanced players, they can be used by golfers at various skill levels. However, beginners may find them less forgiving due to their lower compression and higher spin rates. It's important for golfers to choose a ball that matches their skill level and playing style for the best performance.
When selecting staff model golf balls, consider factors such as your swing speed, playing style, and preferred feel. Additionally, think about the conditions in which you typically play, as some balls perform better in specific weather or course conditions. Testing different models can help you find the best fit for your game.
Staff model golf balls are engineered to perform well in various weather conditions, but their performance can vary based on factors like temperature and humidity. In colder conditions, the ball may feel firmer, while warmer weather can enhance its softness and spin. Understanding how these balls react in different environments can help you make informed choices during your rounds.
