Our town in NH only allows fires of out size to be cooking fires before 5 pm. We decided to start cooking breakfast over the fire. We use this with a cast iron skillet and griddle to make all sorts of breakfast foods. This fits perfect over our fire pit and works exactly as expected. I 've been using my BBQ grill box with my Explorer for 10+ years. It has been used as an every- day grill, camping grill, party grill, baseball tournament grill, etc... very heavy usage. Zero issues. I estimate that I have prepared over 300 meals with it. The grill box has now worn out( the grate plate below the cooking surface finally rusted and broke through and is coming apart). The top drawer is stainless steel covered and when you open it is divided into organizing compartments. There is an area for a propane tank as well. The metal slit in the side table area is great for holding knives/flat utensils. It was fairly easy to build and has all the tools you need included. Use the whole cart to prep or place a griddle on the top. Versatile and a good investment for those that like to cook outdoors.

I purchased. BB30 BBQ for my Pro 60 14 ” stove. After purchase I found that the BBQ would not close completely with the pizza stone inserted in the BBQ. The two tabs that secure the BBQ grate during transport provide an interference with the pizza stone. Without modification of the tabs, these two items are not compatible with one another. The modification was simple for me and I am now happy with my purchase, but not all buyers will have the ability to make them work together. Buyer beware. Camp Chef has been a part of my family for forty years- this is the first issue I have had with three stoves and many accessories.

This is a must have for anyone wanting to make jerky, but also for any one that wants the option to get more cooking area. You can also use the different racks at varying heights to get separation from the heat source below. This comes in handy for longer cooks to get more flavor from your smoker. Do n't believe the reviews that talk about the sides of the rack falling down if you do n't have a rack in one of the slots. I do n't know what they are doing with their rack supports or if they might have installed wrong or something else, but if installed correctly they stay under the edge of the grates just fine when I 'm not using them. I can see myself using them more often than naught as I 'm trying to get better heat control whilst smoking my food.

I just got my Jerky racks this week and i did have to remove the original top warming rack mounting bars from my smoker, but no big deal 4 screws and the original stainless steel warming racks fit into the jerky racks support brackets so you can still use them in combination with the jerky racks. the capacity of these jerky racks is great I did 3. 96 Lbs of beef into jerky and I only used the top 2 racks. I could have done another 2 Lbs of beef easily with using the biggest bottom rack as well. I get so much more in my smoker now.

After smoking, my clothes, my hair, and skin are all full of smoky smell for days, this was great to protect against it. The accessories were very high quality and I was happy to replace my old tools. They weigh heavy and are high quality. The lifetime warranty is a fantastic touch. The apron itself is heavy set but the best part is how easily it folds into a small, transportable size.

[ I am digging this BBQ set. There are nice slots for each of the grilling tools in the apron. The quality of the tools met my expectations, stainless, but not overly hefty. I got this for myself, but would make for a nice birthday or fathers day gift. Only negative is the inclusion of the hat, which I will never use.

After much research for my price point and size of pellet grill, I decided on the Camp Chef Pellet Grill Front Shelf- 24 ''. I have used it about 6 times now, and I really love it. The assembly instructions were well laid out and easy to follow. It's a sturdy well built unit, although I do wish the grill door fit a little more snug onto the unit when closed. The menu is easy to follow and to set temps and smoke. The app is ok. I lose connectivity sometimes with the grill and the wifi does n't work at all unless I have my blue tooth on. Not sure why that is. BTW, I have an exceptionally strong wifi signal at my house. And, when I lose the signal I 'm literally only about 22' away and have not moved. Anyway, the app is easy to set up and follow. All in all I really love the grill so far. Looking forward to many years of use.

This is the second shelf that I 've ordered, as I already have one on my other Camp Chef pellet grill. These shelves are great as a resting place when prepping food to go on the grill or a place to put the food when your removing it from the grill. The shelf is easy to install as the spots to bolt on the shelf brackets are already in place. I would estimate the time to install was around 15- 20 minutes using a screwdriver. The shelf folds down out of the way when not in use. The shelf will fit when folded under the Camp Chef grill cover.

I have had my Woodwind 24 for 6 years. Along with the grill I have the Sidekick single burner. I have cooked countless racks of ribs, both pork and beef, Boston Butt's by the dozens, salmon, spatchcock chicken and turkey, and countless other meals. Absolutely love how this grill cooks. The ease of cleaning is enhanced by the cleanout cup on the bottom. The electronic readout is super simple to understand and set. The moveable heat sheal allows grilling as well as slow cooking/smoking. The Sidekick just adds to the awesomeness of this setup. I have cooked pan cakes, sausage, hash browns, and much more on the provided griddle, and used the burner for frying and all sorts of pan cooking. I highly recommend this grill setup. The Woodwind 36 came very well packaged and in great condition despite some outward appearance of rough handling on the packages. Inside was well protected. Assembly was easy, although instructure were wordless with pictures only. Just pay close atte tion to part shaded and the details of the diagram and you will be fine. I chose this model for the ability to flame grill if wanted. The first cook was using the Side Sear grill with some chicken breasts. Worked great and they were delicious. The first smoke was a brisket for some family in town and it turned out perfect. Tender and juicy, just like a pro. Great flavor and smoke ring and everyone wenst back for more. The next was pork butts for Carolina pulled pork. Again they turned out perfect. Great flavor, super tender, and easy to pull off with the app and the ability to set your time, smoke, and timer or desire internal temp. Very satisfied! Would highly recommend the Woodwind.

[ Some assembly required but well worth the effort, crack a beer and take you time this is your new smoker! Make sure you plan a burn off of the protective coating that is applied to interior metal part to protect against corrosion, this step is kinda buried in the manual. After these first few steps you are ready to create. This is truly plug and play. Lets admit it, most smokers work the same way, what sets this one apart and it major! is the ash clean out and the wood pellet dump. If you have ever had to shop vac out your smoker just before you are about to drop your dinner on the grill you 'll know the profanity my neighbors are treated to.( apologies) The ash clean out on this bad boy was a game changer. Do n't be cheap protect your smoker and buy the cover, yes you can park your rig under cover which helps, but the moisture in the air finds a way in. The cover will extend the life of your smoker and that itself has great value.

This is my 3rd camp chef dlx 24 I own. They all work great and would recommend to anyone. This 1 cost a little more than the other 2 and came with a little damage but nothing a rubber mallet could n't fix. I hope it last just as long as my other 2 if not longer. FYI my other 2 work fine I just had a mishap with pellets getting wet and jammed up auger but I cleared the jam and still works. Camp Chef is definitely my go to smoker/pellet grill in today's market.
