Our town in NH only allows fires of out size to be cooking fires before 5 pm. We decided to start cooking breakfast over the fire. We use this with a cast iron skillet and griddle to make all sorts of breakfast foods. This fits perfect over our fire pit and works exactly as expected. I 've been using my BBQ grill box with my Explorer for 10+ years. It has been used as an every- day grill, camping grill, party grill, baseball tournament grill, etc... very heavy usage. Zero issues. I estimate that I have prepared over 300 meals with it. The grill box has now worn out( the grate plate below the cooking surface finally rusted and broke through and is coming apart). After much research for my price point and size of pellet grill, I decided on the Camp Chef Pellet Grill Front Shelf- 24 ''. I have used it about 6 times now, and I really love it. The assembly instructions were well laid out and easy to follow. It's a sturdy well built unit, although I do wish the grill door fit a little more snug onto the unit when closed. The menu is easy to follow and to set temps and smoke. The app is ok. I lose connectivity sometimes with the grill and the wifi does n't work at all unless I have my blue tooth on. Not sure why that is. BTW, I have an exceptionally strong wifi signal at my house. And, when I lose the signal I 'm literally only about 22' away and have not moved. Anyway, the app is easy to set up and follow. All in all I really love the grill so far. Looking forward to many years of use.

This is the second shelf that I 've ordered, as I already have one on my other Camp Chef pellet grill. These shelves are great as a resting place when prepping food to go on the grill or a place to put the food when your removing it from the grill. The shelf is easy to install as the spots to bolt on the shelf brackets are already in place. I would estimate the time to install was around 15- 20 minutes using a screwdriver. The shelf folds down out of the way when not in use. The shelf will fit when folded under the Camp Chef grill cover.

Love the shelf! It is large enough to hold a large baking sheet, roughly the size of two large racks of top ribs. It makes it easy to transfer in and out for wrapping or off loading chicken, steaks or whatever without taking a chance of dropping them on the ground.

[ Some assembly required but well worth the effort, crack a beer and take you time this is your new smoker! Make sure you plan a burn off of the protective coating that is applied to interior metal part to protect against corrosion, this step is kinda buried in the manual. After these first few steps you are ready to create. This is truly plug and play. Lets admit it, most smokers work the same way, what sets this one apart and it major! is the ash clean out and the wood pellet dump. If you have ever had to shop vac out your smoker just before you are about to drop your dinner on the grill you 'll know the profanity my neighbors are treated to.( apologies) The ash clean out on this bad boy was a game changer. Do n't be cheap protect your smoker and buy the cover, yes you can park your rig under cover which helps, but the moisture in the air finds a way in. The cover will extend the life of your smoker and that itself has great value.

This is my 3rd camp chef dlx 24 I own. They all work great and would recommend to anyone. This 1 cost a little more than the other 2 and came with a little damage but nothing a rubber mallet could n't fix. I hope it last just as long as my other 2 if not longer. FYI my other 2 work fine I just had a mishap with pellets getting wet and jammed up auger but I cleared the jam and still works. Camp Chef is definitely my go to smoker/pellet grill in today's market.

[ Just bought this immediately before we used it for a couple night car camping. Does just what it was designed to, held a heavy, full, cast iron pot over an open flame just fine. Was sturdy as long as it had a relatively even surface to be set on. We balanced it on some rocks( that later we turned into a coal oven) to get it up higher. I use the 3 burner stove for both church and camping for large groups. Why does not Camp Chief have a 16 '' version Grill Box for 3 burners. My only option is to use the 14 '' two burner version on my 16 '' 3 burner unit.

Its nice to store everything inside under the griddle when not in use: cooking utensils and a couple of propane bottles. Has its own grease trap that works well too. Wish the hard cover came with.

The grill is just the right size when cooking for two. I like the two burners. What ’s different is the need for water to use the grill. I didn ’ t experience any flare ups while cooking, however getting rid of the water is a pain when you ’ re at a campground since it has grease in it.

[ This is an excellent grill for camping. It is small enough to be portable but large enough for cooking a lot of food at once. It heats up fast and the heat is easy to control. There are two separate burners. The inside grate is in two pieces and we got the pan accessory so we can be grilling on one side and heating stuff in a pan on the other side. The drip pan is great. You just put water in it and any grease drips right in the water making it so easy to clean up. The regulator is easy to attach and simple so it would be really hard to strip it accidentally. Overall, the best grill we have had and we 've been camping for a long time.

[ I was incentivized to provide my honest review of this product in exchange for receiving it. This prep cart is a great size. Late and has a lot of storage. There are 3 shelves for storage. The top drawer is stainless steel covered and when you open it is divided into organizing compartments. There is an area for a propane tank as well. The metal slit in the side table area is great for holding knives/flat utensils. It was fairly easy to build and has all the tools you need included. Use the whole cart to prep or place a griddle on the top. Versatile and a good investment for those that like to cook outdoors.

The instructions did say it would take about half an hour to assemble but took me about an hour by myself taking my time. From assembling, it feels durable for the most part. The only thing is that the wheels feel a bit loose/ wobbly even after securing it with the provided parts. The shelving/ compartments/ door feel secure making it well suited for keeping in the backyard. Love that there ’s a hook for paper towels and a bottle opener attachment included. Can ’ t wait to get more use out of it once it ’s warmer out!

I purchased. BB30 BBQ for my Pro 60 14 ” stove. After purchase I found that the BBQ would not close completely with the pizza stone inserted in the BBQ. The two tabs that secure the BBQ grate during transport provide an interference with the pizza stone. Without modification of the tabs, these two items are not compatible with one another. The modification was simple for me and I am now happy with my purchase, but not all buyers will have the ability to make them work together. Buyer beware. Camp Chef has been a part of my family for forty years- this is the first issue I have had with three stoves and many accessories.
