We just got this goal today for my six and seven year old. We chose this one because it was made of galvanized steel and not plastic. Assembly was a breeze and took probably a half hour by myself. This is a great regulation size net. The frame was very easy to assemble. The instructions are clear and each frame piece is labeled with a letter on a sticker. The frame snaps together with `` push- buttons '' that snap into place and seem very secure. No frame wobble. It's a big goal-- truly regulation size. Attaching the netting is time- consuming if you do it correctly as you need weave it onto slots on the frame using a separate string which is provided. If done right, however, the net fits great and has no gaps or weak points. I think this net is sturdy enough for recreational outdoor ice hockey and it's definitely strong enough for any type of street hockey. My final recommendation is NOT to use the Franklin shooting target with this net. Better designs are the original Shooter Tutor or the Pro Guard 8996 Heavy Duty target. It's hard to beat the quality of this goal for the price. Highly recommended!

The Junior size is plenty big for our small back yard and offers great returning capabilities. The netting wo n't be as tight as a rebounder itself, but it's plenty good for its intent. Construction took roughly an hour with two adults necessary, but it was not overly taxing. The instructions are not the greatest, but it's not too difficult.

I am a coach for competitive and recreational teams. I have two 12x6 goals, and have used them for over four years now. I use them for outdoor and indoor practices and games for U10- U16. I have not experienced a single problem at all( the bags have a couple of small holes but that seems like normal wear and tear.) I coach a U12 Boys competitive team and selected this shirt( and the 3/4 GK pants) as our gear. The attention to detail is outstanding. Very well designed and thought out. Great pad placement, material used( mesh to air out certain areas), and it's not too bulky. It has a nice athletic fit. The GK's loved it as did the parents. It's the best combination of form and function I 've seen for a GK. Tips on fit- My GK's are average height and lean and fit for U12( i. e. they 're 11). I normally would have tried the YL. It is on back- order and they suggested an Adult Small. The fit, because of the size increase on the boys, was not compression but not too loose. It fit like a normal GK shirt with an athletic fit. The GK's liked the shirt and the fit as it was not too tight. Storelli offered the YL when it arrived but we decided to stick with the Adult Small. Bottom line is that if your GK does not want compression or if you 're questioning whether one size increase if enough move up one more as I did. Great customer service as well. And if you have n't tried the 3/4 GK pants you should. They are true to size and extremely nice!
