This is a great regulation size net. The frame was very easy to assemble. The instructions are clear and each frame piece is labeled with a letter on a sticker. The frame snaps together with `` push- buttons '' that snap into place and seem very secure. No frame wobble. It's a big goal-- truly regulation size. Attaching the netting is time- consuming if you do it correctly as you need weave it onto slots on the frame using a separate string which is provided. If done right, however, the net fits great and has no gaps or weak points. I think this net is sturdy enough for recreational outdoor ice hockey and it's definitely strong enough for any type of street hockey. My final recommendation is NOT to use the Franklin shooting target with this net. Better designs are the original Shooter Tutor or the Pro Guard 8996 Heavy Duty target. It's hard to beat the quality of this goal for the price. Highly recommended!

I bought this for my 12 year old son and he loves having a regulation size goal at home. The only reason I did n't give 5 stars was because I had to take a couple of the sections apart and rehook them as I could n't get the clips to snap in place the first time. Also, I am a petite hockey mom and put this together on my own so it can be done but it is time consuming! Lacing the net takes the most time.

We just got this goal today for my six and seven year old. We chose this one because it was made of galvanized steel and not plastic. Assembly was a breeze and took probably a half hour by myself. I don ’ t know that it will last a lifetime, but it seems solid enough and my boys love it. It folds flat for storage and that is super easy. It is not too heavy to carry, just need two people due to size. We are very happy with our purchase so far! Shipping was quick and package came in perfect condition.

The kids used these goals all spring and summer long and they held up pretty well, even being moved around regularly to accommodate mowing. Nets held up reasonably well for the amount of use and staying outside in all weather- only a couple of small tears at the end of the summer.

My 10 year old son loves this soccer goal. The net is nice and tough. Does n't break away or loose shape like reviews said about other soccer goals. Great thing about this net is it can be folded in half to put away for the season and it is powder coated. Looks like it will last a good long time.

Just happened on this goal and thought it might be a great solution for our fenced back yard. It does keep the balls from going over the fence and works great at rebounding the ball right back to the kicker. Heavy duty too!

Pretty straightforward to install and solid once it ’s up.

We bought this as a replacement for one of those pop- up goals you can move around, and although it's not quite as portable, the quality of the design and construction makes up for it. The Junior size is plenty big for our small back yard and offers great returning capabilities. The netting wo n't be as tight as a rebounder itself, but it's plenty good for its intent. Construction took roughly an hour with two adults necessary, but it was not overly taxing. The instructions are not the greatest, but it's not too difficult.

Placed this in the backyard for the kids. It took about 2 hours to set- up. I did have to go back and rethread somethings after not following directions carefully. When assembling, I had my doubts as to how this would work, but it has been holding up great. Even I can shoot on it and it barely budges. It has brought a lot of fun to our backyard.

This thing is great! It keeps my son from hitting the ball of my fence and protects any missed shots from the ball going elsewhere. It is great for practice. Install is easy although it takes slightly longer than stated in the directions.

I 've had the open goal for a month or so. My kids absolutely love it. they have played so much more than they used to and my son has already said he's been seeing an improvement with his shots. the Rebounder makes their practice so much more efficient and it's a lot more fun for them when they do n't have to chase down every missed shot. when the ball comes back they can just shoot again! It has the added benefit of also protecting my fence from getting smashed up by balls all the time. Im sure that my neighbors are very appreciative. It was a bit complicated to set up but that makes sense considering the size and how it works. But the time spent was well worth it!

My son just started to play lacrosse. He begged me to get him a goal. The price was right with this one. He spends a lot of time outside shooting on it. Assembly was easy and so far it was held up great.

I bought this as a gift for my nephew who just started playing lacrosse this year. The frame snapped together perfectly but I have to say using two long strands of twine to tie the net to the frame is less than ideal and took an extraordinary amount of time compared to using clips or putting the frame through the net or other options. The net itself seems of high quality and my nephew is enjoying it very much!

Nothing extraordinary... a good quality fold up soccer goal& net for younger players to practice shooting skills. It would not be suitable for older teens as the more powerful kick one has, it has less stability.

Steel goals are known for their durability and stability, making them ideal for various sports. They can withstand harsh weather conditions and heavy use, ensuring they remain intact during intense games. Additionally, steel provides a solid structure that can support the weight and impact of balls, making them a reliable choice for athletes.
Yes, steel goals can be used in both indoor and outdoor settings. However, it's important to consider the specific design and coating of the goal, as some may be better suited for outdoor environments due to weather-resistant finishes. Proper installation and anchoring are also crucial for safety and stability, especially in outdoor applications.
When selecting steel goals, consider the age group and skill level of the players, as different sports have varying standard goal sizes. Additionally, the available space for installation should be taken into account to ensure the goal fits appropriately. It's also beneficial to choose a size that allows for proper gameplay without compromising safety.
Steel goals generally require less maintenance compared to those made from other materials like plastic or wood. Their robust construction means they are less prone to damage and wear over time. However, regular inspections for rust or corrosion, especially in outdoor settings, are recommended to prolong their lifespan.
When looking for safety features in steel goals, consider options like rounded edges and secure anchoring systems to prevent tipping. Some goals may also include safety nets to minimize the risk of injury from stray balls. Ensuring that the goal meets relevant safety standards is also important for player protection.
Many steel goals are designed with portability in mind, featuring foldable or disassemblable designs for easy transport and storage. However, the weight of steel can make some models more cumbersome than others. It's important to check the specifications for portability features if you plan to move the goal frequently.
