My wife was fitted for Ping G Le3 irons, hybrids, and fairway woods in November and they have been fantastic. Gapping specifically for women and women friendly design actually works. She is 78 and is able to hit and hold greens as never before as these clubs have given her some additional length while hitting the ball much higher. about a year into golf, was a high handicapper until I got the iron/hybrid set. I ’ m consistently hitting high 90s- low 100s. The hybrids are particular easier to hit than my previous( Reva) ones. I love that it came with 3 wedges( W, U, S). The only thing holding it back from being perfect for me is that it came with a 5h and 6h. Given the loft on the 6h and 7i is only a difference of 0. 5 degrees, it would have been much more practical to have a 4h instead of the 6h. I ended up buying the 4h separately and it ’s my favorite club in the bag. Trying to figure out how to find a women ’s 2h or 3h to get a little more distance, but I don ’ t think Ping makes them.

I picked up distance they are very accurate. I ’ ve have always had forged blades when I saw these I had to get them. I ordered 3 to PW, with Dynamic Gold 105 shafts and I ’ m glad I did. I was always going to play these irons as I am coming from the original Blueprints. The trick for me, which required care and time in the fitting process, was to find the right grip, shaft and ball combination. And I found it in the TTDG 120 S300 Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 cord grip and the Bridgestone Tour B RXS ball. At 54 I am still playing off scratch but my swingspeed has reduced a tad. But all my fears of still trusting a traditional mb blade iron dissopated when I played this combination. Wow! Totally blown away hiw off the charts good the feel and performance of thus iron is. It will take getting used to the new aesthetics but as all Ping products…you come to really love and appreciate them for life.

I have played with a lot of set of irons and without a doubt the ping i230 are the most precise clubs I have ever gamed. They offer solid forgiveness and the distances are off the chart. The i200 ’s were good, these are excellent. Best irons for low handicap players IMO. Scratch golfers may prefer something a little more blade like and workable, but these irons are extraordinary.

I just was fitted and the i230 with the Ping Alta CB AWT S shaft was the winner. I have never played graphite shafts on irons, but the Alta CB won me over; it's a joy to hit them. There is enough weight where I can feel the club, and the impact is butter smooth. I feel likes it is less work to get straight distance. The ball does not veer offline much, even with a poor swing. I tested other graphite shafts, and steelfiber, but the Alta CB kept feeling the best and hitting my launch and spin numbers. I 'm looking forward to gaming these this year.

I 've been using these irons for two full seasons since they came out in late 2022. Back then I was fit for a new driver and just wanted to also hit some irons as my previous set was almost a decade old. Hit irons from many different brands, but no model could compete with i230. These irons really hit a sweetspot of looking great, but not intimidating to an `` average '' golfer. And while this is also true for some competitors irons, none of those achieve what the i230 does: it's very forgiving for its size and consistent because it was not designed to just hit low- spin missiles. Irons with similar forgiveness are always built with distance in mind while i230 is all about scoring and creating playable shots with enough spin and height. Even the consistency out of the rough and in the wet is outstanding. Plus, the yardage gaps are perfect through the set while other sets get bunched at the top end and/or have huge gaps in the short irons and wedges. Plus, they also feel REALLY solid. Not as soft as a one- piece forging but very satistfying. Best comparison is hitting a nail with a hammer. Not soft, but solid and powerful.

I ’ ve had these irons for a month and I really, really love them. An upgrade from my 921HM. Granted I had the wrong shaft in my previous set, DG105, had trouble getting them up in the air. I opted for the Nippon 950Neo on the new HMP after a Mizuno fitting at GG. A little lighter and higher launching, combined with hotter face and slightly stronger loft equals a dream set of irons for me. Nothing feels like a Mizuno. Can ’ t recommend more. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

I have played Wilson Staff in the 70s and 80s and it seemed like all good players did. I ’ ve been waiting for them to get back to the top and they got it right this time. D7 Forged are the real deal. Look great, feel fantastic and go through the ground perfectly. They are long and forgiving. I am totally happy with them. I would recommend them to anyone. If you demo clubs you should add them to your list to try. As far as the mean review I ’ m sure if you contact Wilson they will be happy to take care of you. Mistakes can happen even to the best. Have you never made a mistake. Also different companies have different specs. There are no universal standards anymore.

These irons give me consistency, I feel like the distance is predictable from club to club. They have a stylish non- clunky appearance, but are also forgiving. I bought this set with a bit of skepticism, but they were by far hitting better in the bay than TM, Ping, Callaway, and Mizuno Irons. I have more distance, spin, control, forgiveness and FUN with these irons than any I have ever played. I am a mid- handicapper at a 12, but I doubt I will ever want to swing different Irons at any point in my golf career. The light, stiff shaft are great at getting the ball in the air, and the spin rates are off the wall good. I wen 5i- gw and might add a custom 4i as well since I am so happy.

Traded in my set of Callaways for the D9 irons and driver. I went with the senior shaft, which was a great decision. Both the irons and driver are easy to hit, getting more distance without over swinging, and the clubs just feel right. After spending some time at the driving range, I hit the course and shot a 78. Looking forward to my next round. Wilson needs to promote these clubs, they are a great buy.
