Just got done shoveling 13 ” of snow off two walks, patio and driveway. Outside was windy and 10F. Used my Buffs to wrap my ears and nose to my neck. Don ’ t let the light weight fabric fool you, it cuts the wind 100% and retains your body heat. But unlike urethane face masks it breathes. I bought this for my winter bike rides. Mask fits comfortably and keeps my face warm. Easy to breath. Mask is easy to pull up and down for when I need to drink while riding. Mask also acts like a scarf to keep my neck warm. Velcro enclosure makes it easy to remove and store if I get too warm.

[ The fit of the snood is incredible. It fits nice and tight but is comfortable to my face. I am used to using a buff where I 'm worried about the covering moving around while in use. With the snood, it stays in place and fits perfectly with my ears. Because the fit is tighter than what I am used to, I thought the snood would be too tight. However the materials stretched and was forgiving in the areas that I was concerned about( neck and throat). The snood was very comfortable to wear. The material is comfortable and when completing an outdoor walk, I had pulled the snood down and forgot I was wearing it until I saw my reflection in the mirror. The fabric was very soft and breathable. The fleece interior made the materials warm to the skin and protected me against harsh winds, but the breathable mesh in front allowed for optimal oxygen intake. My favorite feature of the snood was the insulation with the material. I have used several face coverings in the past, but have experienced less than desirable results. The insulation material provided ultimate protection against a harsh cold wind and allowed me to experience a workout for longer periods of time. The snood is fitting to my face and does n't move around or drop down from placement on my face.

Love the Therma Tube, this is my second one. It is the perfect weight to keep my face warm on those mild to cold days. It also breaths really well so it doesn ’ t get too wet around my mouth and freeze up. I also love the print where I can represent my home mountain.

By far the best tube I own for the cooler winter months. It ’s tight fitting so it stays up but it also will stretch enough for comfort. The artist print on the outside looks amazing on top of it all!
