I bought this about a month ago and was skeptical because I suffer from posterior tibial tendonitis and I* must* have the proper foot support. I 've worn Dansko for 25 years and I realized that I ca n't wear them anymore, so I tried these. In general, doctors have told me not to wear open heeled shoes because of toe gripping and my condition, but these shoes seriously have the best arch support that I 've ever had. I have some excellent Aetrex shoes but these are the best. I have become a loyal fan of both these and the recovery shoes but I also have a pair of Vionic boots from 10 years ago and they are still the most supportive and comfortable pair I own.

There are even holes throughout the length of the tongue to help with breathability. The translucent sole is a really clean touch and is a great way to show the Jordan jumpman underneath. It is a unique design how they blended the different jordan models in a low top and they work really well together. The box has a cool diagram showing that this model takes design elements from the 1, 2, 5, and 7 models. I like how the 23 is slightly offset on the heel tab to add a little bit of flair to the shoe. I think silver caps on the shoelaces would have added another layer of awesome to the shoe but other than that this is a great choice.

[ Let me preface this by saying, my household runs mostly on Jordan Retros with the Jordan 1 being the ones in rotation year round. So genuinely liking these was a surprise for sure. They still have a flexible leather like the Jordan 1 with a wider toe box in my opinion. These are extremely comfortable with no break- in period and can be worn with jeans, shorts, skirts and dresses. They are a pretty versatile, neutral shoe. The color is great for the summer. The lighter color does pick up more dirt but the kids these days like their shoes to look a little more worn so it ’s not a problem. I look forward to seeing how they hold up.

Now that I have had these for a couple of weeks( playing 2- 3 times a week) I can not say enough good about them. Sometimes I think light means not very supportive, the other brand that I wear and like feels a little block like, not so with the Intrigue.
