Great hat……but…. Just finished a Rick Steves Ireland tour. Wore it a ton. Everyone wanted to know where I got my bucket hat. I told them, but said, don ’ t get too excited because the color selection is poor. Sadly, colors are same as when I bought mine. Many tourists were wearing various bucket hats- they are clearly popular. Sunday Afternoon should come out with many colors! Eggplant purple, a dark emerald, navy, maybe a lovely shade of sage, etc.. not pink or lavender! AND, make the hat in men ’s, too, if they haven ’ t already. I love these hats but you should strongly consider making the adult size S/M a flat out Medium and makeing the youth large witch starts at 6 inches and ends at 6 7/8 a small. I 'm infuriated by the laziness of this. I and many others with small heads would like to have more to choose from like the adult selections. This is flat out discrimination against those of us with smaller skulls. We like hat's too. Like I ssid in my previous review, if they would have had the PHG in youth sizes and frankly all the different colors and designs, I would have spent$ 1, 000 on hat's the day I purchased 12 hats because there are only 7 youth colors and I was n't really feeling the electric pink, but I got two of each. These are really great hats, I love them and I wish Columbia would take a look in either making more styles in youth hats or get rid of the S/M size and make it a Medium and the large youth hat a Small. Because every man with a tiny peahead such as my self are very tired of being discriminated against. I like Columbia clothes/gear. It's mostly what I wear and I almost got rid of all my Columbia stuff, all the pants, shirts, fleeces and coats but the youth hats saved the day.

Great hat! I 'm a trail runner and hiker and I took this recently to the Grand Canyon on a Rim too River to Rim adventure. It worked great! This is a nice hat. Well formed and plenty `` breezy ''. Size adjuster, when pulled tighter, tends to distort the inside sweatband a bit. That's a minor complaint, but it's a bit annoying. I like that the leather chin strap is removable. There are times when I like a chin strap, but they are rare.

Nice lightweight option. Brim is wide enough to offer protection from the sun and holds up to a decent breeze. Picked this up for the golf course as a better ventilated version of the Charter hat. Ventilation is worlds better, as it should, and it's a great option for hot, steamy days. Fit was good but a little small. I comfortably wear a Medium in the Charter and Charter Breeze hats. A medium with then EasyBreezer is a wee bit tight but wearable. If you 're on the fence, get the large and use the sizer inside the brim to tighten things up. My only two complaints about the EasyBreezer is that it needs a removeable chin strap and it needs to be offered in a lighter color.

My dermatologist recommended Sunday Afternoons and I ’ m really glad she did. For health reasons, more than ever, I need to really hide from sun exposure but I am not one to just stay inside. I ’ m usually an Akubra girl, but the Adventure Hat has better coverage and the ventilation makes it so much more comfortable in these increasingly hot summer days. The hat is a solid hat from Outdoor Research. It reminds me of one of my favorite hats from 4- 5 years ago from OR. The hat is a mid crowd hat compared to other older models breathable trucker hats. The material breaths well and the adjustment system is simple and easy to adjust on windy days. You can throw it in your bag in the morning and wear for happy hour beers after a ride. Bought this hat about 15 years ago. Fishing from the High Sierras up to 10, 000 feet elevation to out in the deep sea and even river rafting, it is amazing! This has been my go- to hat for years. I 've worn it so much that the color has faded. I really like how the skirt can be unbuttoned from the brim and let hang- it provides an additional ventilation option. I also like the draw cord- again it allows ventilation options. I 've also found that the draw cord makes the hat easy to hang from my shoulder strap water bottle if I need to remove the hat while under trees for additional ventilation. I wish it was still available in yellow.
