My kids live in these during the summer. And I know their feet are protected swimming in our alpine lakes( slippery sharp rocks) but they ’ re also super comfortable to walk and hike in! Love the sneaker bottom. I just inherited my sons old pair( hey... they ’ re broken in!) wish they could use the antimicrobial footbed of old. The new ones stink( very badly after a few days) making it necessary to wash much more often.

I bought these for my daughter's first sleep away summer camp experience. We packed her 5 pairs of shoes, these Chacos being one of them. The other 4 came back basically brand new. Given their versatility, she wore her Chacos almost exclusively around camp. Unfortunately, she only came home with 1 of her Chacos as she met her match on the last day of camp when tromping through a silty river bottom that sucked one of the sandals right off her foot. These are so cute. I love that they ’ re washable. The only reason I give 4 stars is that I think mine were mislabeled because I ordered a size 5 and they are huge. I ordered a different style Keen in the same size at the same time and there is a very obvious difference in size. My guess is that they ’ re a size 7 because they ’ re even bigger than size 6 Keens that I have. Both the box and the shoe say size 5. It was a bummer that my son couldn ’ t wear them immediately, but since they were bigger, I kept them so he could grow into them. I added a photo to compare next to a 6.
