I have always loved the sun, but as I 've gotten older( 39 yo female), it has turned dangerous for me. I have light to medium skin tone but after Accutane in my teens, my skin has n't weathered the sun in the same way and has worsened as the years pass. Goes on clear. It ’s like a protective moisture barrier all day- actually makes me want to apply it. Waterproof! Doesn ’ t run into my eyes and irritate my contacts. Doesn ’ t dry out throughout the day or flake off. This makes it easy to layer/reapply. I usually react to sunscreen but that hasn ’ t happened, plus no breakouts. I warm it up with my fingers to dab apply around eyes first, then it ’s warm/soft enough to just roll onto the rest of my face in stripes that I then rub in. Finding a moisturizing non- irritating waterproof mineral- only screen that lasted a long time used to be impossible- now my hero is here. Please never change this recipe! I live in Hawaii and have a super active outdoor life. The humidity makes it so that I will usually sweat anything right off, so I am reluctant to put anything on my face.
