I had seriously injured my leg 2 months ago and my physical therapist suggested I buy Asics, which I did. I 've ALWAYS been a Nike fan though but she said the soles were n't stiff enough. `` One '' of the multiple injuries was a badly broken toe which ca n't be fixed bc its too late. It will take a year to heal, I 'm told. In the meantime, every shoe I 've worn, causes pain... until these!!! I 'm SO happy. They literally support EVERYTHING- from the ankle to the arches( which I do n't really need) to the toes. These are the best shoes I 've had in ages! Ryka shoes are my new favorites. My first Ryka purchase was a pair of Echo Knit Slip- on Sneakers and they fit like they were made specifically for my feet. Same thing with these LX Walking Sneakers. They hug the feet with no rubbing in any unwanted spots. They are lightweight, very cushioned and have excellent arch support. I have a long narrow foot and have a difficult time finding walking/running shoes that are narrow enough for my feet but Ryka, medium width are narrower than other brands I 've tried. I 'd recommend you order the wide width if you typically wear medium width in other brands. I 'd also recommend sizing up ½ size if these will be used for walking/running. I mistakenly ordered the same size as the Echo Knit Slip- ons I had- 8. 5 medium- but for running I should have ordered a half size larger. It took me a few minutes to get used to the rocker bottom feeling but a lot of good sneakers are made like that these days and I actually like it now. These are lightweight and bouncy. Bought these for treadmill running. I have hallux rigidus and bunions which requires a stiffer sole and a wide toe box. These shoes meet those criteria. My go- to shoe is usually the Hoka Speedgoat for trails, but the Brooks Ghost Max have been excellent for running on the road and treadmill. I am size 9. 5 and first tried the size 9. It was too short and my toes were falling out of the shoe. The width was perfect though. I then tried the 10 instead. They are a good length, maybe a little bit too wide, so not perfect but better than the size 9. They are very comfortable. People say they aren ’ t comfortable but thats just because they compare them to adidas foam shoes. They might not be as comfortable as that, but they are much more comfortable than the average sandal

[ First off I must say this shoe is COMFORTABLE! I mean it ’s like walking on a cloud. I love the material. The color scheme and the overall look. I have not had it long so I can ’ t yet comment on the durability of the shoe. However, it ’s stylish, it ’s comfortable, and it performs. One thing I wish it had was a slight cap over the toe I think if the toe cap was some sort of hard plastic or rubber material just at the top of the toe it would be even better vs the material used. It ’s also true to size!

Perfect to move swiftly and with great agility in a total body conditioning and dance fitness class.
