The blanket is rugged yet comfortable and very stylish. We used the product two nights in the row for a concert on the lawn. Two people lying down fit great to picnic prior to the concert, and then it held up well as we stood on it throughout the entire 3 hour concert. The second night there was even a light constant mist so we reversed it and let the rugged waterproof side protect us from the rain while the soft side kept us warm. This is a great Rumpl blanket, but I was shocked at how much cooler the color combo was than the initial photo of the blanket. The color of this blanket is much more accurate in the lifestyle shots outdoors. I got the crisp fade, but I figure the Arizona fade( and any of the other fades,) is also much cooler looking in person than the studio photo as well.

I have children. Children spill, they run, and they make a mess( children can also be interchanged for adults). This blanket doesn ’ t get all jumbled when people move. Someone spilled their entire water bottle on the blanket and I just lifted it and wiped it away. My friend witnessed this and immediately bought 2, 1 for her and 1 for her sister. I used this towel for a hike that involved waterfall swim holes. I needed a towel, but I also needed something lightweight. I ’ m 5 ’ 0 123 pounds and this towel was the perfect size for me. It easily folds back up into the case. It didn ’ t take up much space at all. For a normal size person, I ’ d recommend the XL size.
