This is the first pair of barricade tennis shoes I have bought that had no break in period. It ’s a little different with the laces coming up at an angle but not an issue. I wear size 8 1/2 in adidas advantage but always buy a half size bigger in barricade tennis to keep my toes from hitting the front of the shoe when make quick stops. The sole is very stiff — even with Game- day Pro insoles, I felt ankle pain and couldn ’ t play back- to- back matches. Performance: The close- to- the- ground feel( like V1) is excellent for explosive movement, and the wider toe box is a big improvement over the cramped V2. Durability is still TBD; past ON Pros lasted me only a few months at 8 – 10 hrs/week of play. Looks: Best silhouette in tennis shoes — sleek even in large sizes( unlike the clownish look of Asics Court FF). But the “ Swiss Engineering ” label feels like marketing, not sport- specific design. Bottom line: • Pros: roomy toe box, great court feel, sharp design. • Cons: short fit, low toe cap, overly hard sole, questionable durability. If ON could make the V1 last longer, it ’ d be the perfect shoe. Right now, I only buy them for the looks, not the performance. As for this listing, there is a mistake. Just an fyi... my daughter found a shoe and asked a sales associate for her size to try on. The sales associate came back out with her size but the shoe was n't the exact same as what my daughter had picked out.( The sales associate did not mention it was a different shoe.) My daughter liked the shoes she tried on, and we bought them. The shoes we bought were higher price than the shoe she originally picked out. So be aware of that when picking out a shoe and the sales associate brings out a slightly different style.

I had never tried a Wilson shoe before, and am a size 8 in Adidas. I play around 4- 5 times a week, friendlies, drills and league play. As soon as I saw the crisp green and white palette that matches my club colors I wanted to try them on. I have wider, flatter feet, and a size 8. 5 felt great on. Supportive but not heavy or clunky, they are cushioned without adding too much height and bulk. I saw a friend wearing this shoe and I loved the look. Based on her glowing review I decided to give the Intrigue and the Wilson brand a go. Now that I have had these for a couple of weeks( playing 2- 3 times a week) I can not say enough good about them. Not only are they really attractive( I purchased the all white as it goes with everything- but will be investing in other colorways) but they felt really comfortable and light right away. Sometimes I think light means not very supportive, the other brand that I wear and like feels a little block like, not so with the Intrigue. From the first time I played in them they were so good that they did not even enter my mind during play, other than that I think they are cute. No bad break- in period. I know we are just talking about tennis shoes here, but these feel simple, classic, and beautiful. Wilson is knocking it out of the park with their tennis gear and I am along for the ride!

I use the Coco ’s for pickleball. I play 15- 20 hours a week on hard courts. I have a history of ankle problems and pain so I order new shoes every 8- 10 weeks. [ I actually bought and tried on 15 different brands of Tennis Shoes, including these, and other great Models like the K- Swiss Hypercourt Pinnacles and the Nike Challenge 1. 5 Zoom. It was easy to return the ones I did n't want. These Rush Tour 5 were my favorites. Comfortable, good fit, no heel slippage, and most important: incredibly bouncy! You can really feel that carbon fiber springboard- it makes it easy to launch or jump. You feel springy and energized. The carbon fiber springboard works better than Nike's top of the line Air Zoom padding. The support is excellent- no chance of an ankle twist with quick lateral movements. They also seem to be very sturdy, durable and well made. Warning: The only downside is they run narrow and the toe box is a bit tight. I tried going up 1 and 2 sizes, but the shoes just get longer and still remain narrow and tight. So I got a shoe stretcher that helps widen the toe box and it worked! Now they fit perfect!
