This `` Zim Zam '' game of my childhood is delighting my own children.

Back in the 80's I had this game. It was called `` Zim Zam '' back then and I loved it! This tether tennis game brought back so many great memories! The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating is because the pole is too lightweight and the ball came off the string the second day we played it. We also had to try to reinforce the base because the pole was n't secure enough in the ground. But, this is so much fun to play!!

When I was a kid, we had a metal Zim- Zam that we played ALL the time outside in the summer. I was looking for the most similar product, and this is about as close as it gets. We bought this for Grandma's backyard and we have been over there once to use it, and so far, so good, we had a lot of fun. I looked up reviews on websites about this product and some people complained about it breaking in various ways within the first 5 minutes. But it seems to be pretty durable to me, and made it through a good couple hours of me whacking the ball as hard as I could, as well as a tween and preschooler. So we are very happy with this so far:)

great fun for my husband and daughter. she rushes home to practice before he gets home from work. only con is it comes out of the ground too easy after 15- 20 mins of play.

I agree with the reviewer before me. Great for two and even better for a one child play. I used this when i was a kid, and spent hours upon hours on this thing. I am an only child, so my parents did a great job finding this for me. And now, my kids use it, and get very good use out of it. At the social gatherings, kids and adult alike get on this thing, and can become fairly competitive.
