This was a gift and my son was very pleased. It has many tools to utilize. I just wish it came with the case to protect it.

Slim, lite weight and looks good too. Great for an everyday multitool!

[ Love this knife it is my EDC. It ’s light weight, haze a good blade and comes with Phillips and flathead screw driver tips. You can get a set of other tips for it that covers Allen and torx bits. All in all a great tool

[ Great tool. Gives you what you need and nothing that you do n't. This helps keep down on the weight. Like all leatherman tools it feels well constructed and should last a good while.

[ Bought this for backpacking/fishing/skiing adventuring- is lightweight and has all the features I was looking for. Always happy with my Leatherman purchases.

[ I have not used this yet, but it feels very well made and all the parts move smoothly. I like that you do n't have to open the pliers to get to the knife. It would be nice if it came with a case. I know I 'm dreaming, but it would be nice if you could get a left- handed version.

After loads of research trying to find the perfect EDC MT I found it in the Dime. The tool selection is excellent in this size of EDC. Quality is above average and I 'm sure this MT will be in my inventory for generations. I 've never owned a package opener but have to say that after discovering this device on the Dime I can now enjoy birthdays and holidays without the worry of dealing with those pesky plastic packages! I live around citrus farms and the package opener serves as an excellent peeler as well..
5
Awesome little tool, perfect addition to complete a EDC kit.
5
Better than the small Swiss Army knife. I use the knife blade most. All blades are adequate... Yes, one is hard to open but I never use it anyway. Just got to remember that the size has its positive as well as negative points. Easy to carry in my pocket. Not too big or bulky. Not an overwhelming blade to use for self defense( ha ha). But usually adequate for most of your needs.
5
Excellent tool. I have the blackout version. Blades are a little stiff but not that you ca n't safely open them with a fingernail, with use they are getting smoother and easier to open. Scissors are great, package owner is nice and the tweezers are actually nice in a pinch. Bottle opener works well and is great to use to hook to a Key Chain or to run a piece of 550 cord through. The split ring for going on a key chain is weak and really useless. I 'll be buying one for my wife and daughter.
5
Great addition for the keyring, very handy. Only a toothpick and ints very competitive with these Swiss Army Knives

[ I took this work of art backpacking with me as a Ranger for The Dyrt in the Huron- Manistee National Forest. Although this device may come at a heavier weight than many weight- conscientious backpackers would prefer, it's as sturdy as can be. For me, I 'd rather carry a few extra oz around than have to worry about my multitool getting bent or broken in my densely packed pack. Not to mention with that weight comes 20+ tools and seemingly infinite possibilities. The Surge is not only the ultimate multitool, it's the ultimate backpacking tool.
5
Grizzwald22
[ Just got this as a gift, messed around with it today. Better than anticipated. Really excited to start putting it to use. Feels solid and sturdy.

[ I had a first generation WAVE multi- tool before. I loved it dearly. It had everything one could possibly ask for. I used it during my time in the military and well into my civilian life. Never once had a problem with it at all because Leatherman usually( and for good reason) means quality. I was heartbroken when it was stolen from me. Kind of felt like losing an old friend, really. Funny to have such feelings towards an inanimate object, but we had done a lot together. Breaking down weapons, fixing stuff around the house, pulling hooks out of the mouths of trout and salmon among other things. It feels good to have a Leatherman again.
5
chilesmith
[ This leatherman is the best out there. It is larger than others I have owned and is strong. I have managed to break ones in the past and leatherman replaces it at no cost.
5
onwardupward
[ I own smaller models in the Leatherman line( Crunch, Charge, Juice) as well as a Victorinox Classic. The Surge is by far the heaviest multitool, perhaps a bit too much to use as EDC unless you are using the larger pliers all the time. The scissors are the best in a multitool or knife: smooth spring action, long blades, not finicky or flimsy. Top recommendation if you need this size of multitool.

I have owned the Leatherman ARC Talos for several weeks and have come to appreciate the exceptional build quality. The FREE technology comes in very handy for operating one- handed. I love the locking mechanism for the tools and the accessibility from outside of the multi tool. Does not come with a case; however, it does come with a nice pocket clip that securely holds the tool in place. Be careful when flicking the tool open with one hand: it can bite if your index finger is too close to the top of the handles.

[ I ’ ve owned several models of Leatherman and Gerber…Wave+, Charge Plus TTI, Charge Plus, Rebar, Super Tool 300, Skeletool CX, Surge, Gerber Truss and Centerdrive you name it. None of them were able to justify not carrying a pocket knife until the ARC. The magnacut blade is a game changer in the multitool space and has replaced my pocket knife with ease. The one handed opening pliers are awesome when you have your hands full as well as the ability to access the tools from the outside, again, with one hand. Different from the Free P4, Leatherman has listened and put a proper bit changer, quality scissors and a proper file into the tool. Build quality is typical top notch from Leatherman and this is a tool that will be handed down to my kids someday. I highly recommend if you ’ re on the fence!

[ Use this when working to remodel rental property. I have found more uses than I thought possible for this tool. It screams quality. Knives razor sharp. Pliers, wire cutters, screw driver all tops and readily accessible on my belt. Very happy I purchased it because it saves me so much time. The price is a bargain. I don ’ t even consider cheaper multi tools because the quality isn ’ t there. No regrets.

[ The Wave is the best Multi- Tool on the market. It is backed by a USA company that offers a 25- year warranty. The bit driver allows for a lot of versatility and the replaceable wire cutters are nice to have. Truly can not go wrong with this tool.

Great little tool, perfect price, and smaller than I expected — however, its still as functional as the full- sized PowerAccess, for example. Provides a ton of function for its size and you can carry it everywhere without even having to worry about weight. It's either on me or in my pack everywhere I go. Definitely a 'recommend' from me.

I have spent years looking for a small tool which could fit on my pocket but still have full functionality. The Powerpint is the complete package!
5
Gusto
Since the Powerpint was released, I have kept an eye out for a sale that included the Pp and my patience paid off( plus free shipping!) I have owned Leathermans, Gerber products and off brand multi- tools, but none are as feature packed, compact and smooth opening as this one. I have been disappointed with paying full price for other tools that sit in my drawer at home, but with the built in pocket clip, this tool is one to be carried and worth buying at retail price.

jagroat
I own several other multitools and this one is awesome! The size, tool count and options are exactly what I was looking for, it's a nice addition to the collection and carry and would recommend.

Very well built and is just a great piece of equipment all around ... A nice pocketable form factor with pocket clip. ... I 'm an aircraft mechanic and my EDC is the Gerber Center drive with bit kit and it works out great for my line of work but it's a bit bulky to wear after work for just doing...

Carry mine everywhere. Comes in handy when I do n't have my regular tools with me.

Gerber keeps finding ways to improve multitools and driving the cost down. I have owned the original Suspension, so when the NXT came our with a pocket clip, I had to have it. I love the weight feel of this tool. I was surprised there is no stud on the blade for 1 hand opening. The Phillips screwdriver is long like a real screwdriver. The scissors are stubby, but usable. I 'm not fond of the wire spring. The tool feels good in my hand and has the basics. Just what I need. For the money, it's an effective value- priced tool with a real lifetime warranty.
5
Jason Ingram
Got the original suspension it was cost for the price sheath as we all know was a bit thin so I pit it in my leatherman leather case with the single light attachment. Fit snug as a glove yawl. Then I got wind of the NXT mhmm hmmm had to have it. First one was a but warped so I took it back to homedepot and the passed me another which we checked at the counter right and clean! On my belt loop it went and off to work... that all is great for scrapping char off a burnt up gas oven, I kind you not that babe shines:] used it to dig some pilot holes for door hinges tenants broke a bedroom door. Spring loaded pilers cut up them bronzed cost hangers like nothing car wire radio with 12g single stranded too. That cross is so boss use it to in stall a new porch light, 8ft led and bathroom fan without any additional tool Gerber keeping beautiful baby your awesome yawl love it keep up the good work, myhx AC.

Cambell
I bought this a few months ago and it works for everything. The alignment of the handles are a bit off, but that has n't inhibited the functionality at all. All the tools work great for all sorts of things. Whether it be small crafts, projects around the house, cutting rope, or misc. hunting activities it has always come in handy. I 've enjoyed it for the price point, especially. I am getting more than what I paid for it.

I bought this multitool to replace a worn out ozark trail i had for years. It offers so much more than the ozark trail. A nice pocketable form factor with pocket clip. Spring loaded pliers and for the first time on a multitool I 've owned really good springloaded sizors and so much more. I never leave home without it.

The primary reason I always carried a Swiss army knife Tinker modal was for the blade and Phillips screwdriver. This knife is about the small length and weight but the screwdriver is WAY more functional and the blade locks( not sure why Swiss Army never figured this out).

G Man God Guns Guitars
Being a `` live music audio engineer '' for 30 years, I 've used EVERY multi- tool out there... SOG, by far gives me THE MOST FLEXIBILITY as far as number of USEFUL tools per multi- tool. THE HIGHEST QUALITY multi- tool available,( at any price), THE MOST OPTIONS for a multi- tool per applicable task, and THE MOST VALUE for cost vs what you 're getting! This little PP1001- CP fits perfectly in any pocket that I have handy, yet gives me the flexibility of 18 tools with the performance of the big boys! I love, Love, LOVE it! May I add... Ya just ca n't go wrong with SOG! They 're one of the few companies that just wo n't sacrifice quality for their bottom line! Thank you SOG for the best quality and prices vs any of your competitors! God bless and take care...

I 've had this multitool for 4 months now and it's great. The opening mechanism is so smooth, it's a joy to operate. The lock can be easily operated with one hand and all of the tools can be accessed from the outside. It even comes with a pocket clip which is nice if you do n't want to deal with wearing a sheath on a belt. I hope this model is around for a long time!

JAGLAW
I needed a small pocket knife to carry with me on trail runs. I didn ’ t want anything too big or cumbersome and this product fit the bill perfectly. The knife is rugged and fairly sharp. It also comes with two integrated driver bits( Phillips and flat head) that magnetically fit into the end of the knife, which doubles as a screwdriver. The knife also comes with an integrated clip which secures nicely to clothing or equipment. I recommend this pocket knife for light duty use.

Multi-tools are incredibly versatile, combining several functions into one compact device, which can save space and reduce the need for multiple tools. They often include pliers, knives, screwdrivers, and other essential tools, making them ideal for a variety of DIY tasks. This convenience allows for quick adjustments and repairs without having to switch between different tools.
DIY tools are typically made from durable materials such as stainless steel, which offers resistance to rust and corrosion, ensuring longevity. Some tools may also incorporate high-strength plastics or rubber for grips, enhancing comfort and control during use. Understanding the materials can help you choose tools that will withstand the demands of your projects.
When selecting a multi-tool for DIY projects, consider the specific tasks you will be performing. Look for tools that offer a variety of functions that align with your needs, such as cutting, gripping, or screwing. Additionally, evaluate the size and weight of the tool, as well as the comfort of the grip, to ensure it fits well in your hand during extended use.
Many multi-tools are designed to handle a range of tasks, including light to moderate heavy-duty work, depending on their construction and features. For more demanding projects, it's important to choose a multi-tool that is specifically rated for heavy use, as these will typically have reinforced components and a sturdier build. Always assess the specifications to ensure the tool meets your project requirements.
Portability is a key factor when choosing DIY tools, especially if you plan to work in various locations. Multi-tools are generally compact and lightweight, making them easy to carry in a pocket or tool belt. Additionally, consider tools with built-in clips or cases for added convenience, ensuring you can access them quickly when needed.
