I have been playing the Max Fast 7i through G for about two months and about 20 rounds. I am 77 and have lost swing speed over the last decade. These irons are much lighter than my prior set. There was a short learning curve to develop the rhythm and swing speed that worked with the lighter clubs. On good strikes, these clubs helped me gain 10 more yards with each club. Off center strikes do not lose that much distance, so my iron game is as good now as when I was much younger and fit. These clubs have a thin top line and compact heads that instill confidence at address. I couldn ’ t be happier with my purchase.

I have been using Callaway products for over 30 years. I bought the Elyte Max Fast Irons when they were first released. Each year I found the improvement to the Callaway family of irons constant improvement. I must say these are the best set of irons I have hit. Forgiving feel and flight allows me to get on and stay on the green from afar( 190- 205ish depending the club). Would recommend anyone who needs to close a distance gap to consider looking at the rogue ST series of hyrbrids. The ST MAX feels perfect for a high handicapper like myself. I have played golf 3 times since buying this driver. My previous model was probably 9 years old and was a Cobra as well. I am stunned by how forgiving this driver is. I have not sliced badly yet! Also, when hitting off the heel or low still having very good results. The distance is superb as well. I am seeing much longer distances. Nice looking fairway wood club. They had a rare 7 wood in a stiff shaft. Gentleman named Al brought the club out to my curbside pick up. We realized someone had put the club with wrong specs in my order. Al took me inside and found the right club. He exchanged and solved the issue quickly and walked me back out. Got fit for this driver and bought it. Per the results of my fitting, I have the settings down to a 9. 5° loft(- 1° draw setting), and have the 12g weight in the heel and the 3g weight in the back of the club. During my very first round, my slice is nearly gone. My drives are flying much straighter. But the biggest improvement I saw was the misses are nowhere near as bad. Instead of huge slices, the Cobra Darkspeed Max minimizes those greatly to baby fades that miss just right of the fairway in the first cut if you do happen to miss right. Very happy with the results after just one round. I ’ m going to invest in the Cobra Darkspeed Fairway Woods& Hybrid as well.
