As the title says, this is the best putter my son has used in the last 5 years, since he sold his first Spider to try and make a blade putter work. That started a battle to find a putter that worked until he finally `` gave up '' and tried this one again a few times at different golf shops. Of course, it was money for him and he decided to sell all of his other experiments and go back to the Spider. He's a very strong hockey player and the counter- balanced grip seems to be helping quiet his hands, while the double- bend shaft and face- balanced head are perfect for his straight back and through stroke.

I have used LAB and Oddessey# 7 broomstick putters. I find the Spider Tour S Long much easier to align and see the intended line. I think it is the alignment coloring and the 90 deg shaft angle of the spider that make it easier to align and see the line than the other long putters I have used that have the shaft leaning forward out of the putter head. The putter is very stable at impact with great feel. I tried adding more weight to the Spider but went back to standard weight because the feel and flow are just great. Shot my lowest round of the year since switching to the Spider because I am making confident strokes since I can see the line so well with the Spider.

after a long 15 years of not playing I finally got back into the sport. I knew the one club I wanted to buy new was a putter so I set out on a mission of trying every putter I could get my hands on in my local stores. I 've been playing the standard Eleven putter with the White Hot insert for two years; it's the most solid and steady putter I 've owned, but I thought maybe an upgrade would help, so I ordered this Milled Eleven Tour Lined Double Bend with the Golfpride Pro Only Blue Star grip. It's obviously a precision instrument, a thing of beauty designed for a specific purpose: to put the ball in the hole. The double lines on top align precisely with the width of the ball, leaving no doubt about aim or strike point. The feel is beyond solid; it's like a vault door lockup, propelling the ball like a machine with perfect spin down the line. It's surprisingly heavy yet takes significant force to get the ball to the hole. It's almost easy to lag to the vicinity on long putts; short putts seem automatic. Got the original PLD Anser 2 and played and loved it for a year or so... i never thought i 'd part with this putter. Just rolled the Anser D. The looks are stunning but I was blown away by the feel of this putter. It's amazing in every way. Graphite shaft is new to me but i am really liking it. I have always loved the shape of the Anser 2. Now I 've converted to the wide blade and I ca n't go back. Both excellent putters... for me the Anser D is superior in looks and especially feel. Happy hunting!

Grabbed the usual Scotty, rolled a few with a couple others and then grabbed a PLD Anser 2 that caught my eye. I fell in love and bought it. I own 17 putters and rotate through them, never making up my mind to stick with any one of them... until now. I 've played about eight rounds with it and hours on the practice green. Best putter I 've had in awhile. The last few years I 've used my Scotty Cameron( Newport II); however, it always felt like there was not enough weight at the bottom. But the White Hot Versa has perfect weight distribution& it looks good too.

Imagine my surprise when alignment made simple allowed me to free up the stroke and start rolling it pure again. The PLD Anser 30 is pure off the strike and not harsh with the mishits. I was in a golf store to buy some shoe spikes and a couple grips. The last thing on my mind was leaving with a new high priced putter, but I stopped by the putting room to roll a few for fun. Grabbed the usual Scotty, rolled a few with a couple others and then grabbed a PLD Anser 2 that caught my eye. I fell in love and bought it. I own 17 putters and rotate through them, never making up my mind to stick with any one of them... until now. I 've played about eight rounds with it and hours on the practice green. I ca n't put it down. The feel is amazing. I have never felt another putter that has this feel. It's just quality and inspires confidence. It's soft, but not white insert no feel kind of soft. More like how a muscle back feels when you hit it pure, only easy to make great contact. I 'm thinking about listing a bunch of putters on ebay because I ca n't imagine ever putting with anything else. For the first time in 40 years of playing golf, the only thing I feel like blaming for a missed putt is a bad read. This putter is perfect.

Just bought the milled PLD Anser D. I believe that it outshines the Cameron milled putters, and that is saying a lot. It is well balanced and smooth as butter. Its hybrid Anser shape suits my eye and feels a part of me. I feel confident on the greens and that is 90% of putting IMO.

The putter looks great in the bag and down at address. The stroke lab shaft makes it easier to more consistent to control. Very soft off the face, though I think their 2016 White Hot Rossie was a touch softer. The grip will feel slick at first, but after breaking it in it will feel nice and tacky.

Since the mid- 90s, my primary flatstick has been an Answer 2 BeCu. I lag great with it, but struggle in the 5'- 10' range. I 've tried to replace it over the years, but every putter that improved my midrange putting killed my lag putting and resulted in worse overall putting stats... until I tried the Scottsdale B63. It's the first putter I 've used that I can hit midrange putts with and lag putt with. I 've had the best putting rounds of my life since moving to the B63. Over the course of three rounds, I 've only three putt once and have averaged just over 1. 5 putts/hole- excellent numbers for me. I do n't know if it's the shape or the insert or whatever other technology is in the Scottsdale putters, but this one works for me.
