We wanted to get my daughter the same ball they use on her team so she would get a true feel for the ball while practicing at home. I see why they use this one. I 've played volleyball both for fun and competitively for many years and love this ball the most out of all the other models& brands. It's well made, has a good weight, and lasts and the leather feels so much better than other ones out there. For those who say its hard... all volleyballs are hard and will hurt your arms when you first start out, but this will pass!
5
MambaPanda
As others that are experienced players have already mentioned, the ball will feel `` hard '' when you pass it initially. The ball is not hard, you are soft! High level and professional balls are built this way to withstand the hard hitting as well maintaining better control over. This ball is for experienced and high level players. Not recommended for beginners. There are `` light '' balls that may serve your purpose better. If you are a Varsity, D1, or Pro level player then this is one of the best in the game.

5
Whitey
I ordered what I hoped would be a professional quality net with solid braided netting, plastic coated cables top and bottom and quality borders. I got it all in this product. The materials were first class and lent themselves to my backyard set up with two galvanized steel poles and eye hooks with tensioners on one end. The only thing I might recommend to back yard DIY's, is to hang the two ends one foot higher on the poles( 8'4 '') to compensate for the sag in the middle. Unless you have those pulleys and cranks, like the pros, the long expanse of the net will sag about 14 inches in the middle. Starting at a higher position should take care of that. BALL UP!

We ordered this net for our daughter's graduation party/fourth of July party. It came really fast and we were really happy with it. It is really heavy- duty and I think it will last for years. I would definately recommend this to anyone.

Every Thursday since 1986, with the exception of holidays, I have 8 to 20 people that show up at my house for Volleyball. In New England, we play outside in pretty harsh conditions, summer heat to winter snow and the Champion Net survives the abuse and the elements. Our Volleyball defies most of the standard rules and is more contact in nature. The cable on the top and bottom are crazy strongI have tried other Nets in the past and the Champion net is the only net I will buy.

[ Wow, this volleyball was absolutely a joy to play with. The leather was incredibly soft and easy to play with. You can feel the quality from initial touch. We had no issues with it on the court and now are looking forward to any game where we can use it. It was such a hit with the other players that several asked after to check it out closely because they wanted to order one! I would recommend to all levels of players, this ball is all around high quality and very durable. You will not regret this purchase!

[ When I received the ball, I was amazed. It was so pretty. I love that it has gold color on the ball. It ’s perfect to practice. My kids and I took it to the park and also played in the house. I don ’ t recommend playing in the house but my kids and I were practicing setting the ball in the house. The ball is made very well. It ’s soft but not too soft, it ’s firm enough to get the job done. Our dogs even got to play as well, they saw us and they wanted in on the action. I loved that the ball brought us together as a family, we played together and spent quality time. My daughter who is afraid of all balls, was able to play and inspired her to want to on a team. I highly recommend getting this ball. If you ’ re playing for fun or on a team, this ball is great, it looks good too. It ’s easy to tell your ball apart from other volleyballs, since it has gold and has a gloss to it. Can ’ t go wrong with this ball, it ’s brought my family together.

Got this on sale for$ 79. 99, about a month ago. I was not sold on the variable size feature( it goes from size 5- 8 as your kid grows), but I got it because the package brings knee, elbow, and wrist guards which would have cost$ 30 by themselves. The boot is not a real boot but a soft material. The laces do very little in the way of support as opposed to traditional ice skates. The only thing keeping you from breaking your ankles is a velcro strap near your ankle and a ski boot style strap at your calf........ surprisingly, this works for lightweight kids in the beginner stage.......... I liked it so much that I bought a pair for my other young boy........ but when I tried a similar style for adults, it would clearly break with the stresses that I would put on it.

AggroSkater
I got these for Aggressive Inline skating when I skate street or park. I 've taken a few falls and the shock absorption on these things are really great. I 've had pairs that slide and move around but these stay in place. OH! they also do n't cut off circulation. So that is also good

AggroSkater
I LOVE THESE! I 'm an aggressive inline skater and falling is just bound to happen. These let me catch myself without fear of breaking my wrist. The elastic around the tumb is n't super tight and the velcro strap holds the brace in place. They are really good for heavy impact falls or slides. I totally recommend.

This Slam X net is awesome! The poles are solid and the net is made of good material. We have had ours for 26 months now and it gets used at family events and our kids' birthday parties. We like it because it provides more room/space to play compared to the crossnet game which is great for kids. The reason I put' minus one' is because the out- of- bounds straps quickly faded and started to tear apart. Because the new GoSports warranty is only 6 months we now just use a rope with some tent stakes to mark the lines. 100% I would still buy this again as it creates hours of fun with large groups.

[ I received this through Influenster in return for my Honest Review Super glad for this opportunity to do a review on this really nice volleyball. I work in a residential treatment facility for youths and this volleyball will be used many times once the weather gets better by these kids. One thing these kids love is recreational time and Volleyball is one of those things they enjoy playing. This ball is well made so I am really happy for that fact because this will get so much use this spring and summer from these kids. What is really nice is that it also came with a hand- pump and needle which the needle can be stored inside the handle pump. Thats a really nice feature so that the needle doesn ’ t get bent or lost after using. Just wan na thank Franklin Sports for this wonderful opportunity on reviewing this and Influenster for making it happen for these kids

[ The Franklin Sports Pro Volleyball Federation 12- Panel Swirl Official Game Ball is an excellent choice for both casual and competitive play. The durability is impressive, with high- quality materials that hold up well over time. The grip provides great control, making passes and serves more precise. It has a consistent bounce and maintains its shape and inflation even after extended use. The accuracy is reliable, making it a great ball for serious players. Whether for practice or official games, this volleyball performs well on different surfaces and delivers a great playing experience.

I bought this a few weeks ago and used it once on a sand court. It worked great! And it was already pumped so I didn ’ t have to track down a pump. It's a tad long( we cinched it up so it's not in the water), but the length is great and we had it for our big summer party. ... The net is wider than we needed, but we wrapped it around the poles and it works

I bought this to replace our pool volleyball net. The net is wider than we needed, but we wrapped it around the poles and it works great. It is a much more solid net and I think it will last much longer than the original.

I really wanted a new pool volleyball net and was n't going to pay$ 150 for a whole set when all I needed was the net. This worked out perfectly. It's a tad long( we cinched it up so it's not in the water), but the length is great and we had it for our big summer party. Looks to be sturdy and easy to put up and to store.

When selecting a tournament volleyball, consider factors such as the ball's construction, weight, and grip. Look for materials that provide durability and a good feel during play. Additionally, the ball should have a consistent bounce and be suitable for both indoor and outdoor surfaces.
Indoor tournament volleyballs are typically designed to be lighter and have a softer touch, while outdoor volleyballs are often made with more durable materials to withstand harsher conditions. The outdoor balls may also have a slightly textured surface for better grip on sand. Understanding these differences can help you choose the right ball for your specific playing environment.
To determine if a volleyball is suitable for competitive play, check for certifications from recognized governing bodies in the sport. Look for balls that meet official size and weight regulations, as well as those that are designed for high-performance use. Additionally, consider the ball's construction and material quality, as these factors contribute to its performance during matches.
The best types of volleyball for tournaments are those specifically designed for competitive play, which often feature enhanced durability and performance characteristics. Look for volleyballs that are made from high-quality materials and have been tested for consistent performance. Additionally, consider the specific tournament rules regarding ball specifications to ensure compliance.
While it is possible to use the same volleyball for both indoor and outdoor tournaments, it is generally recommended to use a ball specifically designed for each environment. Indoor volleyballs are optimized for smooth surfaces, while outdoor volleyballs are built to withstand the elements. Using the appropriate ball can enhance your performance and ensure a better playing experience.
