This is definitely easier to get fly balls to outfield rather than having the dad “ me ” look like an idiot missing 5 out of 10 balls or getting them wrong with a fungo bat. Fungo bats are good but not if you are trying to train your kids in outfield and don ’ t know how to accurately get the ball to them. This makes you look like less of an idiot in front of all the parents watching their kids practice. You can easily do the same thing with a tennis racket but this is cheaper than a tennis racket and will last longer. Used it a lot since I bought it and the kids even love it. They love it so much they use it at home and launch balls that land on my truck to add cosmetic appeal with dents.

I recently injured my back, so i ca n't really twist my back to swing a bat for fielding practice. This racket makes it extremely easier to conduct hits for fielding practice. Now it does take a bit of practice to get used to hitting with this racket. Perfect for infield practice and outfield, but you will need to stand in the outfield with it as well. It will not create a fly ball to the outfield from the home plate. So when it says pop- ups, grounders, and line drives, it does not mean hits to the outfield from home plate. This also gives the ballplayers awareness of the ball being hit though without the sound of the bat. The only reason i do n't give 5- stars, is because it's not as easy to hit with a it says. If you do n't hit correctly, it will not go where you want it to go. I 'm also a little league head coach in the 6u division, with 3 seasons of coaching.

I love this thing. It's a bit pricey for what it is, but it works well when used properly. All the kids on my team love to use it and seem to immediately transfer the swing action developed with this directly to live pitching. A team that hits to to bottom will be hard to stop! I do question the durability of this however. It does n't have a good sturdy feel to it. Hopefully it's deceptively strong because for this price I 'd like this trainer to last a couple years until the adult model is necessary.

My son started casting his arms out when batting and he would swear he was not. Even showed him video on how bad it was. At first he hated using the swing rail and said it did not work. Then good old father puts it on and starts nailing the ball with no issues. He then started giving it a try going slow still he found a rhythm that worked for him. Eventually after a week he was nailing line drives out to the fence and his bat speed increased 22 mph.

As far as weights out in the market for young girls softball players there is n't much except for these Easton products. I first bought the 5 oz weight which was designed for speed and after 2 months I ordered the 10 oz which was designed for strength. Great product and easy to use. You can simply slide it on to use and can use during batting practice. Great product and designed for easy use. The store had taken down the display and had to order online. Just glad they still had in store online.
