This cage is awesome for the at home baseball player! The cage is big enough to place an actual batters box and home plate. Plenty of time for the pitcher to react to a struck ball, but really needs an `` L '' screen. The only down side is the cage is actually 2- 24' cages and requires cutting the ends of the nets. I just tied the 2 ends up at the top and you can separate the cages later and have 2 smaller cages. Very easy to set- up and holds up well.

I have been using this for just over a month now and overall I am pretty darn happy with this purchase. The pitching machine locates balls consistently, can use both baseballs and jug balls, and has all the speed that you could ask for. The 10 ball feeder is AWESOME! Can load it up and watch the kids swing. The rotating head is an added bonus. It allows us to use the machine for fielding practice as well. Had experience with the single wheel machines in the past, but in my mind, there is no comparison to this Heater. With that said, buy the Net somewhere else... not their speciality.

I have to admit, I was skeptical when I saw in the instructions that we have to `` bend the poles '' into an arc. I was sure they would snap. I even called the 1800 number to question them, but they assured me, they would bend easily..... and they did. I took about 100 swings the first day, had a blast with it, and it held up well. Works nicely with the Heater pitching machine, which hooks perfectly to the cage. Do n't try to use it for a golf cage, though. I hit seven golf balls, and four of them went right through the netting.

Bought this item online and was excited to get it because of the price. I had read some mixed reviews before purchasing, but figured I could always take it back to the store if it did n't work out. The cage set up in about 45 minutes and seemed really stable. We also have a Heater baseball machine we use with it and it was fun to get inside and take swings which were even too fast for me. After about 2 months, we had a big storm come through and one of my fiberglass rods broke( after going back and reading the instructions I now realize I should have taken the cage down before the storm). Obviously I was upset because it 'd only been a few months, but I called the Heater customer service line and there was a girl who was extremely helpful. They sent me a replacement pole for free and I replaced the part in 5 minutes. I would definitely recommend this cage to my friends. It's worked real good since it's been up and the only time it had an issue was when I was lazy and did n't take it down when we had a storm. My son has improved a ton since we got it and I 'm very happy with the purchase.

Great batting cage. Not difficult to set up BUT do not pound the ground stakes in all the way until you are close to the final steps. Reason being, that you will have to remove them once the actual netting goes on the batting cage. We had originally pounded them all the way into the ground and it was a headache, not to mention all the time it took when we noticed the instructions told us to remove them so that they went through the netting. So just pound them in a bit and then you can pound them all the way in AFTER the netting is on. Other than that, installing it was very easy and so far it works very well!!

We use this cage for our two sons who are avid little league baseball players. So far is has held up well. The neighbors all come to hit in the cage as well. We can even use it for golf practice as well because the netting has a tight enough weave. I would recommend that you make sure the cross/support ropes that go between the 3 main poles are tied with no slack between them as it gives more support to the net and reduces the sagging. We bought and use the heater hitting machine with this net. Once it's set up, it's easy to temporarily collapse in the event of a major storm( it can stay up in small/regular storms). You just lay the main poles down and then replace them without re- doing the entire setup. We live in a cold winter climnate so it will need to be dismantled during the winter, but set up is relatively easy.

I was looking for a bat for my 12u daughter to take to the batting cages after she kept denting aluminum bats and I didn ’ t want her to use her expensive composite game bats in the cages anymore. This seems to fit the bill. We did have to add another bat grip on it for better cushioning but it works and seems to hold up well against the harder cage balls. We ’ ve only used it a couple times so far but for the price I ’ m hopeful it will be a better option. My only complaint is that it doesn ’ t come in a smaller size. She currently swings a 32 so this bat in a 33 is not too far off though.
