This is great for seated rows and lets you exercise slightly differently than a v- bar. I occassionally use it for triceps, but find a specific tricep bar more convenient. The one think I will point out, is that the grip will twist and move around depending on the exercise you are doing.

This bar does the job. Smooth rotation and the right width for me( 6' 2 '' tall). I use it as a part of my tricep push down exercises. This bar performs well during low rows and bicep curl exercises as well. The bar's finish is excellent. I would strongly recommend this bar and I am glad I purchased it from Dick's.
