This is my only go- everywhere bag that I take with me any time I leave the house. I ’ ve been using it for three years and I love it as much as the day I got it. I keep my phone in the back top- zippered compartment, and AirPods and lip balm in the small front pocket. In the main compartment slip pocket I have a notebook, pen, stain remover; in the rest of the compartment, I have alcohol hand spray, a pack of tissues, prescription glasses in their case standing up, and beside the glasses a Fjällräven pencil case in which I carry my must- haves( Advil, pocket knife, measuring tape, Bandaids, sanitary pad, alcohol wipes, nail file, hair elastic, eye glasses spray cleaner, snack). The glasses case and the Fjällräven pencil case stand up perfectly side by side, and in front of them I keep my Fjällräven Zip Wallet( filled with approximately 15 cards and cash). All of these items combined fit into the Sling without issue, and I can still put my large set of keys inside if I don ’ t want them in my pocket or clipped to the sturdy strap. In one of the side pockets, I keep a reusable bag. For a bag this small, it ’s amazing all that it can hold, and it ’s super comfortable to wear and have on all day. My one word of caution is to not wear the bag with any kind of delicate athletic/spandex- type clothing since the heavy- duty woven strap can snag or pull the fabric. For people who talk about colour transfer, please use common sense. If you buy the bag in a light colour, yes, of course, it will get dirty( the light colours make no sense to me and don ’ t blame the company for that)!! Similarly, yes, do not wear the bag in a dark colour rubbing against a white shirt. It ’s obvious from the material of the Sling that colour can transfer in both ways. I have mine in Dark Forest( same colour as my backpack and several items of clothing) and absolutely adore it. I love how I can grab the bag by the handles or the long strap, how everything is securely zipped, how hard- wearing the material is, and how I can also hook things to the bag if necessary. I can ’ t recommend it enough.

I fish mostly salt, Gulf of Mexico down to the Keys. The pack is perfect for walking beaches and flats sight fishing. The color is perfect. Blends in with everything and does not conduct heat as much as my previous bag. I 100% reccomend this bag if you are a minimalist and fish in the extreme that require extra clothing and hydration. Holds my H2O rain gear, GPS two 6x4 fly boxes and extra reel, leaders and first aide. The only improvement I would make is to add an adjustment to the top of the shoulder strap so you can adjust exactly where the tool and fly patch go on your chest, but more importantly have the ability to dial in where the second wrap around strap comes around under your arm. I am a big guy and the straps are more than long enough, just wish I could get it to connect a couple inches low. Not a game changer, still comfortable, but it could be improve.

It features a dual zipper across the top with an additional zipped compartment in the inside. The main compartment is fairly large for a crossbody! I like that the adjustable strap is durable and long which allows multi- functional wear at various positions. However, when wearing it at a higher position( across chest or upper- back), the strap is extremely long and just kind of hangs/flaps around. Most of all, I like that the material is extra lightweight and easy to wipe clean. For size reference, I also have the Nike Aura Waistpack and the Nike Aura Crescent Cross Body is about twice the size.

[ This bag is clean and goes with everything. The material is very thin but appears to be water repellant. Also, it doesn ’ t wrinkle which keeps it looking good. The size is perfect for carrying my phone, wallet and among other things as it ’s pretty spacious. The one minor thing that is annoying is that the strap is really long and so there is a lot of the strap dangling. I wish there was a way I can keep it connected to the rest of the strap rather than it hanging down. Other than that, it is a great bag and would love to get other colors.

This is a perfect sling pack that is not too big and holds what you need for a day out on the water. I fish the Tampa Bay Area and near by flats. It is comfortable, very functional, and gets the job done without overwhelming you with size and too many pockets with to much going on. I fish mostly salt, Gulf of Mexico down to the Keys. The pack is perfect for walking beaches and flats sight fishing. The color is perfect. Blends in with everything and does not conduct heat as much as my previous bag. I 100% reccomend this bag if you are a minimalist and fish in the extreme that require extra clothing and hydration. Holds my H2O rain gear, GPS two 6x4 fly boxes and extra reel, leaders and first aide. The only improvement I would make is to add an adjustment to the top of the shoulder strap so you can adjust exactly where the tool and fly patch go on your chest, but more importantly have the ability to dial in where the second wrap around strap comes around under your arm. I am a big guy and the straps are more than long enough, just wish I could get it to connect a couple inches low. Not a game changer, still comfortable, but it could be improve.

Nicely designed with respect to pockets. There are actually 7 separate compartments: 1. Side pouch( perfect for 2 balls or a water bottle) 2. Wide long pouch for up to 3 paddles( maybe 4 if the narrow long pouch is n't used for anything bulky 3. Narrow long pouch, useful for gloves and sun visor 4. Back side small zipper pouch( I keep lip balm, bandaids, and hand warmers in there) 5. Back side full width pouch( velcro closure at halfway point) is useful as it will allow me to stick an extra regular sized disposable water bottle in one half of it. Also useful for anything extra that I just want to shove in there temporarily to get to and from the car. 6. Upper front zipper pouch good for thin things( holds my slim credit card wallet and keys) 7. Lower front zipper pouch( can accommodate thicker items like sunglasses if only 1 or 2 paddles are in the bag) Zippers are smooth and easy. I love this bag. It holds more than you might guess. When using as an everyday purse, it handily carries my wallet, cell phone, keys, inhaler, chapstick, eyedrops, sunglasses, headphones and a granola bar or two. I 've tested it and it can also handle a 16oz Nalgene, though that's pushing its limits. When traveling, I also add three passports and it does n't feel overstuffed or too heavy. The slightly padded strap is great. The internal organization is enough without being too much. It's also pretty durable- I wear it while playing at the playground with my toddler, throw it around at the climbing gym, drop it on the floor constantly, etc. It's taken quite a beating but has held up pretty well in terms of not ripping or tearing.

My daughter “ stole ” my rack and almost all my gear, and with it my pink padded gear sling from the bygone 80 ’s, punk, and Lycra days. Prefer trad pieces on a sling so I can move it around and scrum my hips in chimneys, corners, and wide cracks. This sling is just like the old one, highly adjustable, padded, and comfy.
