The head is a little heavier than I 'm used to, but the extra weight seemed to get putts to the hole. It helped my yips. The stock grip is slicker and narrower than I 'd like; I prefer a jumbo with graininess and pronounced edges. My first day out, I had 33 putts, including 4 1- putts including a 20 ft birdie, and only one 3- putt. I like the simple pro tour alignment stripe and the dark color. The ball rolls easily off the face, and I do n't think I missed any under 5 ft. It's staying in the bag.

I did n't want this putter. In fact i wanted the Jail Bird, a Spider or something else. I could n't believe the feel and roll this putter has. Maybe it ’s the unique grip or the forward push of the shaft, but I tinkered with it in the shop for an hour or so and bought it because it felt so comfortable in the hand. Out on the course it generally went where I pointed it. Although I was getting the ball close, I was having trouble draining it. After working on reworking my setup, I started to hit putts accurately and with nice feel. The anti- torque features works very well whether you hit it on the toe or the center. I ’ m happy with it now and I expect it will stay in the bag for a while. But don ’ t expect to hit it perfectly out of the box. Patience will pay off.

I have owned several Lab DF3 putters previously. Bought the Stripe version and just did n't like the contrast. Decided to buy this version and it's just crazy good. I am so happy with this putter. I really wanted something without toe hang and this was it. The roll is fantastic and the shaft lean is perfect. This putter changed my posture to allow a better stroke and the fact that it squares up has drastically improved my putting. It took a couple of rounds but I cant imagine using any other putter. I recently got fit for this putter and after using it a few rounds and tournament play, I must say it has made putting much easier and consistent for my game. Coming from a spyder this putter is so much more forgiving and accurate. I did slap a golfpride reverse taper grip as personal preference but it works well with the shaft lean already included and hitting square putts. I tried other competitors and although they were similar in shape the ai face insert on the max 1 far surpassed the raw face of the other zero torque putters I tried. I also see now there is a zero torque spyder being released but at a higher price point and not as good face insert imo as I gamed one for awhile. Very happy with my purchase and this putter is a bird hunter, have made many clutch puts already!

I change putters like socks, and have owned almost all makes including top of the line PING PLD, LAB, Scottys, etc. That said, this amazing putter requires no hand manipulation, only a very simple Brad Faxon stroke. Without question, the results were as perfect as it gets. The roll is pure, the feel is perfection, and it's so easy to align. The major benefit for me is that it holds the line and rolls perfectly towards the hole exactly as your read dictates. This one will stay in my bag for a very long time. The only things I have to adjust, which is normal for any putter is the length of the stroke for distance control and once I got the feel, the distance control was astoundingly easy. From long putts to 5 footers, they all play like taps ins. Zero cons and all positives. Once again, Odyssey has produced a world class winner. I noticed the one criticism was on it's odd set up- this is a center shafted putter with built in forward press. All putters are personal and if you are not used to a center shaft and preset forward press this putter might feel odd to start. The S2S design and built- in forward press definitely aren ’ t for everyone, but that setup has always felt natural to me. When the new Ai Dual 1/2 Ball version came out, I had to give it a try. I absolutely love the look of this putter. The black shaft paired with the red- accented 1/2 Ball design gives it a really clean, modern appearance. I wasn ’ t sure about the reverse taper grip at first — it felt a little bulky — but it quickly grew on me and now feels great in my hands. The added grip offset is a nice bonus as well. This is the 2nd Odyssey putter that I 've owned. I got fittedaybe 15 years ago for a Scotty and then bought a L. A. B. while both the Scotty and L. A. B. are solid putters, nothing feels like an Odyssey. I bought the one with the half ball alignment and I was n't a fan of the look but it's definitely easier to see if you 're aligned correctly. I traded in my 4 year old Odyssey 11 triple track for the Ai- Dual# 7( jumbo grip). I 've played about ten rounds with the new The Ai- Dual putter and think it is awesome. My putting has improved with the upgrade but not life changing( compared to the 11). Once I got the distance and alignment down, I have been making 5- 6 footers with consistency. My confidence with the speed of the longer putts has greatly improved. The Ai- Dual is a solid putter with a very smooth feel and easy alignment that I highly recommend. The magnet on the cover could be stronger you have to make sure you have good contact or risk losing.

Back into golf two years ago after a 25+ year hiatus. Marriage, divorce, kids, sports, hip replacement, etc. I bought a set of Callaway XR clubs that came with a mallet putter. As my game progresses, I am upgrading my clubs and ran across the square to square putter. Since I have a mallet putter, that is what I leaned toward. It was nice, that is until I tried the S2S double wide blade putter. This putter is so balanced it made putting on the test green in the store almost effortless. I played my first round with the S2S yesterday. Granted it is December in the Midwest so they sanded the greens, which slowed them down. I was still amazed at the feel of this putter. Even my golf buddy commented on how much better I was on the green. My XR mallet putter I could never dial in the feel of the put. I often times went conservative and left putts short. The S2S putter felt natural. Had to adjust a bit to the center mounted shaft but that took about one hole. This putter will stay in my bag until I draw my last breath. Well done Odyssey!

I purchased this putter at the beginning of December and have been messing around with it a bit lately. I could n't touch it for six weeks because of rotator cuff surgery but now I 'm out of the sling with lots of time on my hands! I 've spent about 7 hours putting in the past 3 days, and I really like how square it feels. I have my other putters with me and switch back and forth between them and I can definitely feel how straight this putter wants to stay. I have some toe sway in my backstroke from time to time and this feels like it helps that immensely. I love how the putter feels from 8' and in, but the head felt pretty light to me from outside of 8', like I really had to swing at the ball to get any distance. I did some research and found that the weights in the putter head are 5g and 15g and if replaced you should maintain that delta. So, I ordered a 25g weight and put it in the heel of the club and moved the 15g weight to the toe( removed the 5g) and I really like how it feels. This added 20g of weight. I also have a 35g weight being delivered and I 'm going to try a 35g/25g setup as well, that might be too much though, but I 'm interested to see. Specs say the head weight is 360g, with the weight I added, I 'm at 380g now, looking forward to trying 400g.

Offset reverse taper grip puts your hands in font of the shaft it ’s pretty interesting it feels natural. Going between this and a std blade/mallet you could really feel the difference. The additional weight takes a little getting used to in order to not over stroke this putter, especially on heavily undulating greens but the line is always true. Great putter. Feels really stable. I really liked the look and feel of the regular S2S# 7, but at 6' 4 '', I needed a 36 '' or 36. 5 '' putter. The best thing about this putter compared to other zero torque is easily the face insert. The entire thing feels soft yet springy-- like the entire thing is a sweet spot. The fitter( 2nd Swing) said I did n't get enough forward press, but the nice thing about the Odyssey is that they could adjust the loft and lie at the fitter. Apparently you ca n't do that with many other zero torque. I 've been putting on my putting sim and after just 4 or 5 sessions, I know it's keeping my face square since my face angle at impact have improved. I 'm sure that will translate to more 5- 15 footers made where I know I previously struggled. This putter is worth a try, but definitely get fit. The jailbird is theoretically more stable but I just could n't line it up-- something about the shape and alignment of the# 7 suited my eye better. I 'm giving it a 5 overall, but if I had to ding it, it would definitely be on the grip. The feel is fine, but it does n't seem terribly durable. I 'd also like to see Odyssey make a grip with built in press since it's hard for me to put the 3- 4 degrees of press on my own.

I purchased the S2S Tri Hot putter over the winter. I live in the Midwest. Previously I ’ ve played a number of versions of Odyssey ’s number 9 putter and their double wide putter. First of all the S2S Rossie is stunning to look at. Second I purchased the putter for the zero torque technology with the hopes it will help me make more putts. I ’ ve played two rounds so far and the results speak for themselves. Each round I made 7 one putts. This putter is so balanced with a great feel. There is no need to play with a forward press with my hands. The new face insert is great. I ’ ve seen the best roll off a putter face I ’ ve ever played with in 30 years. The grip is outstanding. Usually I add a Super Stroke after purchase but did not need too with the stock grip. The internal weighting feels right. I ’ m so excited to continue to play this for 2026 and beyond.
