This putter just fits me like a glove. I got mine with the stepless black 2. 0 shaft and 2 degrees up. What a difference. Not only is it a gorgeous putter but the weight and balance are like nothing I ’ ve used before. The lines make it almost impossible not to line up perfectly every time.

I bought this putter right before a series of competitive rounds of golf, one being a qualifier for an event and another a two day tournament. In the qualifier I made several clutch putts, including 3 big putts in a 6 hole playoff. In the 2- day event I didn ’ t miss a single putt inside 7 feet for 36 straight holes on very slopey and fast Bermuda greens. It ’s as pure as it gets and easiest to align I ’ ve ever owned!

As for the putter itself I had a blade style putter prior to this one. The mallet style has made a significant difference in feel and putting. I honestly prefer the mallet style. Having said that I do not see much of a difference in feel or results between this ai one and an older white hot mallet style. Expecting this to be the case I truly spent the money because in my opinion the ai one style had a nice blue color and looked a little better. As for purchase of this club I was a tad bit disappointed due to a certain grip I chose when custom ordering which I found out 2 days later that it was not available. I chose another style and updated my order the second grip I chose was not the one I received and I ended up just getting the stock one it comes with which honestly made it pointless to wait a little longer just to get a putter I could have picked up same day if I wanted the stock grip. I will most likely be regripping the putter because of this. Although annoyed at the grip aspect of the purchase the putter itself was worth the purchase in my opinion. As a result in the future I will just order a stock club and purchase and regrip the grips myself

Been putting around the pro- shop with this for about a month and finally picked one up. The confidence from 6 ft in is the biggest wow for me, I used to be a 50/50 from that distance, now closer to 80/20 or 3 to 4 shots for me. The long distance range is going to take time as you really have to whack it to get it to the hole. Love the feel and over all very happy with it.

I originally bought this the morning of the S2S launch. Gave it some indoor practice time and did not like it, at all. I even wrote a review here saying as such.( I 've since asked Callaway/Odyssey to remove that review multiple times and they haven't/wo n't) Anyway, I love this putter. Odyssey has done a great job with this. It is as `` point and shoot '' or as brainless as putting could possibly be. The putter stays online, the insert feels amazing. The 7 alignment makes perfect sense for this style of putter. Playing partners have complemented me on my putting now that I have actually played with it. Seriously, no 3 putts. The grip is in fact bad, it is ugly, gets dirty and provides no feel, but that is an easy fix. Well done Odyssey. Exploring and implementing the tech of Zero Torque, S2S in a great package.

I purchased this putter at the beginning of December and have been messing around with it a bit lately. I could n't touch it for six weeks because of rotator cuff surgery but now I 'm out of the sling with lots of time on my hands! I 've spent about 7 hours putting in the past 3 days, and I really like how square it feels. I have my other putters with me and switch back and forth between them and I can definitely feel how straight this putter wants to stay. I have some toe sway in my backstroke from time to time and this feels like it helps that immensely. I love how the putter feels from 8' and in, but the head felt pretty light to me from outside of 8', like I really had to swing at the ball to get any distance. I did some research and found that the weights in the putter head are 5g and 15g and if replaced you should maintain that delta. So, I ordered a 25g weight and put it in the heel of the club and moved the 15g weight to the toe( removed the 5g) and I really like how it feels. This added 20g of weight. I also have a 35g weight being delivered and I 'm going to try a 35g/25g setup as well, that might be too much though, but I 'm interested to see. Specs say the head weight is 360g, with the weight I added, I 'm at 380g now, looking forward to trying 400g.

Back into golf two years ago after a 25+ year hiatus. Marriage, divorce, kids, sports, hip replacement, etc. I bought a set of Callaway XR clubs that came with a mallet putter. As my game progresses, I am upgrading my clubs and ran across the square to square putter. Since I have a mallet putter, that is what I leaned toward. It was nice, that is until I tried the S2S double wide blade putter. This putter is so balanced it made putting on the test green in the store almost effortless. I played my first round with the S2S yesterday. Granted it is December in the Midwest so they sanded the greens, which slowed them down. I was still amazed at the feel of this putter. Even my golf buddy commented on how much better I was on the green. My XR mallet putter I could never dial in the feel of the put. I often times went conservative and left putts short. The S2S putter felt natural. Had to adjust a bit to the center mounted shaft but that took about one hole. This putter will stay in my bag until I draw my last breath. Well done Odyssey!

I bought this after testing several putters. The armlock really makes a huge difference in stabilizing the club and takes any unwanted wrist rotation almost completely away. I enjoy the original grip on this much more than any wider grips seen on similar putters. The face is balance well and takes closing the toe out of the putter out of the equation. There is a reason why some tour pros think armlock putters should be banned.

Great putter. Feels really stable. I really liked the look and feel of the regular S2S# 7, but at 6' 4 '', I needed a 36 '' or 36. 5 '' putter. The best thing about this putter compared to other zero torque is easily the face insert. The entire thing feels soft yet springy-- like the entire thing is a sweet spot. The fitter( 2nd Swing) said I did n't get enough forward press, but the nice thing about the Odyssey is that they could adjust the loft and lie at the fitter. Apparently you ca n't do that with many other zero torque. I 've been putting on my putting sim and after just 4 or 5 sessions, I know it's keeping my face square since my face angle at impact have improved. I 'm sure that will translate to more 5- 15 footers made where I know I previously struggled. This putter is worth a try, but definitely get fit. The jailbird is theoretically more stable but I just could n't line it up-- something about the shape and alignment of the# 7 suited my eye better. I 'm giving it a 5 overall, but if I had to ding it, it would definitely be on the grip. The feel is fine, but it does n't seem terribly durable. I 'd also like to see Odyssey make a grip with built in press since it's hard for me to put the 3- 4 degrees of press on my own.

True story. I bought this putter without ever having so much as picked one up. It was delivered Tuesday. I took it to Lake Forest Golf& Practice Center on Wednesday to test it out on their practice green. The green was closed that evening- for their `` LFG Masters Putting Contest ''. Still wanting to try it, I entered the contest. I got to the first `` hole '', took the cover off the putter and found the plastic wrap still on the putter head. So, I peeled that off and started putting. Like. A. Boss. Wound up winning the tournament and a special Masters putter cover( unfortunately it is for a blade putter). The Odyssey grip I got was poor, so I replaced it with a SuperStroke grip. Bought this recently, upgrading from my Odyssey Versa 2 Ball that I ’ ve used for many years. Wanted to get into the Broomstick game, without the high prices from other companies plus, I ’ ve always used Odyssey. This broomstick putter helps my wrist movement and flick significantly. It does take getting used to, different grip styles and stand height will vary person to person. I ’ m 5 ’ 10 ” and the putter comes up to mid chest, so I ’ m standing more straight and less hunched than other broomstick putters I see in videos. I feel it should be 2- 3 ” shorter for my height, but I ’ m finding overall control and speed a significant increase over traditional putting for me.
