These are the perfect shoe. Better than the Next Gen version, in my opinion. I used to think Antora 3 Mid was the most comfortable shoe I ’ ve ever owned before I got these. I love how versatile they are…they have the “ sport ” mode made famous by Crocs, but you can also put the strap between your heel and the molded back of the shoe, which is how I wear them to keep my ankles from chafing when I wear them barefoot. I am just learning what a difference good shoes make on a body after my PCP recommended I get more supportive footwear, and my quest for the perfect shoe finally can end. I took my new Keen flip flops to the coast this weekend and my toes are happy! In the jeep, around town, at the beach, and on the boat the new flops fit the bill. [ I have several pairs of both Teva and Chaco( love hiking sandles) and I wanted something extra secure and durable for some hiking trips I have coming up. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because of the sizing issues. Most reviews I read said to size up if you are a half size. This is usually what I do with my Tevas( Usually an 8. 5, so I buy a 9.) That being said, with this specific shoe do not size up! I had to make the velcro straps on the back heels tight to fit and they hung off the sides quite a bit. I returned them and got an 8 and they fit perfectly with plenty of extra room to adjust as needed. Also I will say you do need to break these in more than other Teva sandles I have worn because of all the straps. I got a few blisters but now that I have had them for a few weeks, they are great! super secure and comfortable:)

Gentle shoe for toe issues. Easy- on- toes, straight, slide- in entry from the shoe back with Velcro strap that ultimately gives the shoe a secure back, a secure fit over the top of the foot and is no- fumbling easy- to- fasten. Strapping design over the toes and ball, safely encloses those foot areas while giving a sporty sandal look. Wish those who negatively review the Velcro back would shop the 1000 ’s of available shoe styles with other back strap options.
