Our first camping trip this spring for 5 days. The label says 6 days. Temps were high in low 70's, lows in the 40's. And we came home with ice. Great job. I froze about 15 pounds of meat in ziplocks, and placed in plastic cereal boxed shaped containers. and put two gallons of frozen ice jugs. With about 24 cans and condiments. We came home with a golf ball sized ice cube in the gallon jugs, and cold meat! One more gallon of ice and it would have made 6 days, no doubt. This is the best way to not have a cooler full of melted ice and your food swimming???

[ My husband and I love this cooler. I ’ ve added some photos to show off a few features. I love the latch to keep the lid closed. That way when we ’ re headed down the road we never have to worry about it toppling over and coming open or the wind pulling the lid open in the back of the truck. I also really like the handles. They have straps so they can extend out and up to give you more flexibility in how you hold it. It also makes it easy to carry on my own with my short arms. It of course has wheels to roll on and they are nice and large so it glides smoothly and easily. The handle extends pretty high. Up to around my chest. So I never have to lean down to roll it along. The inside is quite large both vertically and horizontally so that I can put a variety of different sizes and shaped items in. Watermelon…no problem. Six packs…no problem. Tons of stuff! And it stays so cold for so long. Plus the drain plug has a no lose cap and it ’s position much better than previous coolers I ’ ve owned. It ’s down at the bottom of the cooler instead of above the floor of the cooler slightly, so all of the liquid drains. We love this cooler so much that we gave away the one we had before this. Needing lots of hydration while golfing in FL and KY; got this cooler and it hasn’t let me down yet. 6 rounds of golf and my drinks( water bottles- some with iced tea) have been kept cold over the typical 3. 5 to 4 hr rounds. The insulation on this cooler bag is first class! I usually put a plastic ice block in the cooler and it works great. During a 4 day kayak/camping trip, we met a group of people who were doing the same trip as we were. They told us that racoons had eaten trough there soft sided cooler and had stolen all of their food. We shared what food we had with them since we were using Yeti bags, and the racoons, although were around us, never tried to get into our coolers. I believe that was because of the airtight design and sturdiness of our Yeti Hopper 30's.

Definitely happy we picked this out. We wanted a cooler that did not look like I was dragging around scuba gear or dry bags. We just needed something simple that we could take around to sporting events or outdoor concerts and this executes that task brilliantly. We enjoy using this much more than our old cooler because we have two free hands now plus the old cooler's zippers would scratch our arms when reaching in to grab drinks out of it. 5/5 for a no fuss cooler. We are taking it to Hawaii on a family trip and using it as a carry- on for the plane ride.

Loving this cooler for the lake cabin. The wheels are a necessity for hauling food and beverages to the pontoon. And wow does it keep everything cold! The dry basket is a great add- on for the goods you don ’ t want in the ice. I chose the gray color so it will match nicely with the interior of the pontoon.

I 've had a lot of cheap coolers over the years, mostly with and without wheels as well as some crappy backpack coolers. I purchased this Icemule cooler because I needed something more durable, portable( especially for taking to the beach) and that would keep my food and drinks colder on hot days. I like that I can put this on my back and keep my hands free to carry chairs and other items. I also do n't have to worry about trying to drag it through the sand or carrying it in front of me, both of which are not fun! The ice retention is great. It does n't leak. It's easy to carry. I 'm very happy with my purchase.
