[ My sleeping bag does not pack down tightly. The `` compression '' bag that came with it did n't do much. So I thought I 'd try the Sea to Summit dry compression bag and voila! All I have to do is stuff the my sleeping bag in the Sea to Summit bag, tighten down and now it's half the size as before. Makes it easier to break camp in the morning and fits nicely on my rear pannier rack.

Steve M.
[ I 've been using evac compression bags for awhile, the new UL ones are great for backpacking and using in your backpack but they can be a bit fragile this Heavy Duty version is excellent. It's super water resistant having used it on bikepacking trips in rain and mud my gear stayed bone dry inside. It's very durable meaning you can strap it right to your bike or whatever your needs may be without worry of wear and tear. The new style closure system with buckles on one side makes opening and closing super quick and efficient which is great for when you get to camp late. I 'll be picking up a few more in various sizes.

[ I have been using the dry bag for my sleeping bag for a little while now and I really like it. The compression is superior to the stuff sack my North Face One Bag came with so it takes up less room in my pack. It is also water resistant so I 'm able to keep my sleeping bag dry and therefore warm and safe. I then bought a larger bag to also keep a spare base layer in so I 'm always sleeping in the driest system possible. This spring has been vey wet so it's been extremely important I keep my gear dry. I feel confident hiking without a pack liner thanks to this dry bag. One tip I recommend is folding the opening back one fold as you store your contents as the lip of the bag has a tendency to bind on what you 're putting in the bag. Once I learned that I felt I was getting the maximum benefit from the dry bag. I also can not say enough good things about how easy it is to compress. This is one of the best pieces of gear I own.
5
Michael M.
[ This is great! I needed a compression sack for my sleeping bag and this doubles as a dry bag. I really like the venting fabric on the bottom. It's like the dry bags I was issued in the Marine Corps that had a vent on them which was exactly what I was looking for.

[ Great quality product I own about 20 of them for myself and the family. When loading my moto bags these turn 7 days of soft gear into the pack size of 3 days. If your limited with space on your bike these are a game changer along with figuring out what can pack down in a regular stuff sack vs what should be compression bag My only gripe isn ’ t a big deal But the clips are a pain to flip around if they get twisted, it doesn ’ t effect the function AT ALL the bag still works as intended if the straps twisted it just bugs me and I have to use pliers to flip it around, again not a big deal just a minor thing

[ These super ultralight dry bags solved a riddle for a two week trek that I was trying to keep light and fast. Instead of organizing into Ziploc or other bags and having to carry a pack cover in case of rain these beauties pull double duty and do both. Bought this item to protect my cell phone while boating and kayaking and it lives up to keeping it from getting wet. Plus the clear front allows me to use it to take pictures during our water adventures. Seals well, the lariat is great and allows me to have hands off waterproof protection while paddling. A must for outdoor adventure enthusiasts who want to chronicle their trips via cellphone photos or maintain communication capabilities.

[ I own several of the older Sea to Summit EVent roll top compression bags which have been doing yeoman's service for many years. I wanted something smaller to compress the extra clothes in my day pack, and the smallest version of the Evac compression sack is just what I needed. Using 3 straps instead of 4, replaceable buckles, and one side release buckle are all great improvements over the older model. A+ Sea to Summit!

[ This is better and more creative than the online description. It has a semi- rigid insert to hold shape, the interior dry bag is attached with loop-&- hook( Velcro), and there are a couple of ways to secure it on the deck of your kayak. Because some powerboat drivers have not paid close attention, I do prefer bright colors when crossing a lakes. And, of course, bright colors are easier for bush pilots to spot. I do wish it came in a bright color similar to a safety vest.
5
Scott D.
Used on a self support kayak trip on the middle fork of salmon in Idaho. Ran it on the front deck but mounted so the access end was toward the bow. In reverse the angle makes it easy to read a waterproof map in the bungees and did not interfere with strokes. Great for extra jacket, lunch, and small dry box. No need to open the hatches for gear until camp.
5
Bjorn C.
No matter how much I cord I use to lash a dry bag to the deck for my snacks, extra layers, and camera, it never seems to stay put and I can never get into it easily. Sea To Summit solved the problem with a versatile, semi- rigid outer that's easy to rig and a dry bag sewn inside.

I bought these for my son to bring to Scout camp& I ’ m very glad I did. He packed all the wet things in these and they worked perfectly. The rest of the stuff in his pack stayed dry. Used these bags as a little extra added security for electronics that were `` water resistant '' for a recent hike of the Inca Trail. [ We just got hit pretty much back- to- back by Helene and Milton, and this made a great go- bag to evacuate from the hurricanes! It ’s very well built and easy to carry, there ’s plenty of room for evacuation essentials, and all of my stuff stayed dry! All sorts of camping and survival supplies are very popular here in hurricane country — even though I don ’ t know of a single person who actually voluntarily goes camping around here! The only thing I wish I could change about the bag is the color! I really wanted a hot pink, or at least a bright neon orange or yellow! Still, the red and yellow is considerably more visible than the basic black. I received the correct item, in good condition, in a decent amount of time. The packaging was frankly ridiculous, though! It ’s very flat and took up minimal room, even without rolling it up – so there was no reason to send it in a massive cardboard box the size of a golf bag, for goodness sakes!

[ I ’ ve taken it on one back country trip and a few other over nighters, and have found the pack to be great. I like the white interior for finding gear and the quality of the bag seems durable overall. The straps themselves aren ’ t the most comfortable when your bag gets heavier but for my portages I ’ m never wearing the pack for much more than an hour between paddles. I would personally prefer a bit of extra bulk and weight if that was the compromise to have a slightly more padded shoulder.

[ As an avid canoeist I ’ m always looking for tough but lightweight gear for canoe tripping. Over the last few years my gear closet has transitioned almost entirely to Sea to Summit gear. We originally were considering Gecko's drawstring style dry bag, but decided this bag looked like better quality level for our needs. This bag was exactly what we needed. We took it on a river float trip, and it was perfect. The lower half was submerged for nearly the entire 3 hours and everything stayed dry. It held our sunscreen, t- shirts, hats, keys, etc with plenty of room. We did put phones and keys in ziplocks just in case, since it was our first time using it and wanted to make sure we were closing it correctly. The strap made carrying and tying down to the tube easy. I would definitely recommend it. The only thing is to make sure you roll down the top enough to ensure a good seal. It says on the bag to roll `` at least 3 times '' but I would recommend rolling basically until you reach the top of your contents.

I have used a lot of different shapes and sizes of the Bill's Bag over the years. The 65 is my favorite size for summer time, inflatable kayaking, or going light on the cat boat. I have had some failure with the plastic buckles in the past, mostly human error by smashing them in the frame or tail gate by accident. I was excited to use the new metal fastening system. They worked really well, except in the cold weather with cold hands. It is a little harder to fit the metal hook through the webbing. I see it as a trade off for a super secure system. The material is also super solid and dry.
