Top notch weighted balls, they seem to be very durable and will last for a long time, these things are versatile as you can use them to hit( front toss& tee) but I wouldn ’ t recommend throwing from a far distance, you can also use them to warm up the rotator cuff and get those arms going with the resistance from the weight. I highly recommend especially if you are having trouble staying through the ball when hitting, this training balls, will absolutely help with staying through.

I have 3 kids, 4, 6 and 8. They all were a little bit afraid of training with baseballs because of fear of being hit, and tennis balls would help just a bit as the fear of the hard balls was still there afterwards. Using these heavy soft plastic balls allowed them to feel comfortable to catch them, throw and bat and so their skills have improved dramatically and considerably within just a few days of practicing with these. It's been over a month or 2 that we have had these training balls and they ca n't have enough fun training with these. I wish there could be a few more included in the package without jacking up the price that much as 3 pcs is fine for one kid but when you have more than 1, each kid wants to have their owns, note they do n't want just one but a few! I bought these for batting practice with my son but found they 're also great for playing one on one ghost runner baseball. These are `` limited flight '' balls so they do n't go very far even on a very hard hit, but they still give great feedback on the quality of the contact. I taught my son how to play with ghost runners today and we played a great game of baseball, just like I did with my brother growing up except when my brother and I played with real baseballs we hit a lot of home runs. These balls create a lot of runners and facilitate force- outs and holding ghost runners in place. I can see them used for backyard baseball with more players and real runners as well. On an additional note, these balls are just heavy enough to catch like a baseball, unlike whiffle balls or other lightweight balls that bounce out of a glove. I could see using these to teach a very young child how to catch without risk of injury. Tons of uses for them. Finally, the bright color makes them easy to find in the weeds, the woods, and other areas outside the field of play where balls tend to go....
