Great cooler so far. Holding ice as it should. Just remember to pre chill before you load up for your adventure. Heavy duty and should last a very long time or indefinitely

Best hard cooler for our camping trips. Kept our drinks and food cold. We had ice for several days without the need of replenishing which is amazing since there wasn ’ t any stores nearby. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic water source for camping. Kept water nice and cold for several days and provided an easy way to refill bottles and camelbaks with ice cold water for hikes. Keep in mind that 8 lbs of ice will take up 1 gallon of volume. If the water is room temperature when you put it in( like those 5 gallon containers you re- fill at the store) then you will need approximately 12 lbs of ice just to even get it cold( with all the ice now melted and none leftover). So I ’ d recommend pairing 24 lbs of ice with 3 gallons of room temperature water. That should leave you with roughly 4. 5 gallons of ice cold water and 12 lbs of ice to make sure it stays cold.

While the Silo is a great product. I sure wish they would offer them in colors like everything else. Reliable and effective like every other Yeti cooler. We take this to the beach and use it for margaritas. Love it! Easy to clean and stays cold all day, even when the margaritas don ’ t last that long.

Got for my kids ’ food truck when we need to use a table outside truck at private events. Perfect size and effective at keeping hot beverages( like cider, which is a big Fall deal in Midwest) HOT and cold beverage COLD. Spigot is world class. Clean up a breeze. Sturdy. Classy looking( we explored a cheaper, square so- called “ competitor ”) for non- personal use

I went to Texas on a bachelorette, and not only was the YETI store right there, but every restaurant and hotel had these YETI Silo Water Coolers. I could n't stop thinking about how my parents lake house needs this- aside from cutting down on plastic, it keeps your water iced and is easy enough for adults and kids to use! We love it!
