This is our first Yeti cooler and we 're very happy with how it performed this past weekend. Here in the AZ desert highs were in the 90's with plenty of sunshine. It was easy to pack. The contents and the 2 bags of ice stayed cold from 3am Friday morning through Saturday night. We were in and out of the cooler pulling ice for drinks. As expected, the ice melted but the water was still quite cold to the touch Sunday morning. We 'll be investing in a smaller chest to keep ice in for beverages to minimize raising the temp in the food cooler. Is heavier than expected, definitely `` solid ''!

Love yeti coolers for a variety of reasons. They 're built tough and use quality materials.( We have one of the original white ones purchased in 2008 and it still looks& works great!)
