I got the ICF60 recently and finally got a chance to use it. I set the cooler to 0F, put about 15 pounds of frozen venison in the cooler, put the cooler inside the car and headed out. Over the course of the 6 hour drive, I never heard a sound from it and I was about 2 feet from it the entire time. About an hour from my destination, I had to unplug the cooler from the cigarette lighter. When I get to my destination, the meat was still frozen and hard as a rock! Our first camping trip this spring for 5 days. The label says 6 days. Temps were high in low 70's, lows in the 40's. And we came home with ice. Great job. I froze about 15 pounds of meat in ziplocks, and placed in plastic cereal boxed shaped containers. and put two gallons of frozen ice jugs. With about 24 cans and condiments. We came home with a golf ball sized ice cube in the gallon jugs, and cold meat! One more gallon of ice and it would have made 6 days, no doubt. The color options were fantastic, but the quality is even better! This cooler has the evil out to dispense margaritas at the beach, has the fat wheels so it works on sand, a spout so I don ’ t have to disrupt my packing to get drinks out, I don ’ t have to open the cooler to get drinks out- keeping ice frozen LONGER, it has a bottle opener and a handle appropriate for pulling the cooler. It ’s also not as heavy as some brands, I can lift it to get it out of my truck when it ’s about half full by myself. The only way to make it better would be to collaborate with JBL and install a Bluetooth, waterproof speaker in it! I chose Ocean Blue and it ’s gorgeous! I live on Lake Texoma in Texas, where we spend all summer in the Texas heat out on the lake. I know coolers and have owned a lot of them; this is by far my all time favorite!!

I ’ ve had mine for 2. 5 years and used it every single day as a lunch bag. I don ’ t have a fridge at my job and this kept my lunch cold until it was time to eat with an ice pack or 2 added. Outstanding! Purchased the ICF 18 a month ago and used for 8 days straight without any problem. We found our perfect temp was 34 degrees. This cooler was spot on with the temperature although the smaller compartment above the compressor was just a few degrees higher. We opted to use that area for soda cans and items that weren ’ t as sensitive to temperature. The main area kept things really cold. I used a refrigerator thermometer before our trip and felt the internal thermometer was spot on within a degree or two. For longer trips or families the 32( size wise might be better), but we are happy with our choice! The unit was powered with a portable power supply that kept our Igloo running all day while driving with power to spare! To be fair, the Igloo was in a climate controlled car nearly all the time. Hope this helps and we would highly recommend the Igloo ICF 18. It is also very quiet as someone else mentioned. The cooler( fully loaded) was also manageable for a couple of seniors to lift in and out of our car. Good job and Thank you Igloo!!!

If you love cold drinks driving to hot states in the summer or any time this is a great cooler that will do the job. This is highly recommended as opposed to thermoelectric coolers if you need to travel with medication that must be at a certain temperature. The only drawback is that all compressor coolers are heaver by design. The bail handle seems strong enough by design to handle to full weight of the cooler. Where the bail handle attaches to both sides of the cooler body, this is why I gave this cooler 4 stars. It seems to be loose fitting and flimsy at the ends. The handles will just fall down to the sides when let go. The cooling and holding temperature work as designed and the compressor will stay off for about an hour to cool again at the set temp.( 42' F). I recommend the cooler, wish the price was less, great overall satisfaction.

Bought one with a build date of dec 2023 and one of the compartments did not seal properly. Returned it and bought a unit with a build date of February 2024. This one seals properly and cools both sections down at the same rate. On a river 2 pro I got about 70 hours of runtime from 98 to 0. Both sections set to 30 degrees, this lines up with other power consumption tests of other domestic fridges showing an average of 11wh usage per hour. You can double check to make sure your unit is sealing properly by placing a bright light inside and then closing the door, if you see light coming through then it is not sealing properly

[ This is the back daddy of coolers. It ’s got so much room and we used it for a Super Bowl party and it held a great variety of beverages and they stayed cold. We also used the food drawer to store extra food items which we forgot about. I can say that the next day the cooler still had ice and the forgotten about food was still cold. I will say it a heavy cooler empty so full it ’s not easily lifted. It has wheels so it ’s easy to transport and the handle is metal this will make a great addition to our deck and summer boating.
