I researched for about 2 weeks after my “ USA made ” lifetime cooler broke after a few years of lite duty. After all the reviews and research I decided on a orca cooler and guess what? I didn ’ t make a mistake I would put this on yeti level with a better warranty and being made right here in the states. My cooler came with a big scratch on top but it looks like something shipping did. Im impressed with all aspects of this cooler my favorite parts are the handles and the bag on the back all very sturdy and high quality. My second ORCA cooler. This one is a 20 quart and will be used for day trips. It is a great American product and is built to last generations. When I received the cooler the flag had not adhered and had to be pressed back on. This is the issue with most stickers I tried to put on my 40 quart but the eventually they all come off. Bottom line, I bought the cooler to be a cooler not a billboard. I will buy again.

[ After a week's trip to northern Michigan we loved our Dometic CFX3. We biked the Leelanau Trail from Traverse City and the Heritage Trail through the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes National Lakeshore. It is beautiful country, and we had great meals while camping. Everything was kept cool and safe with no hunting for ice. We only ate Mexican at a Roadhouse one time during the week. We only wish we had Dometic years ago.

[ After working with my 45L cooler and trying different ice configurations, I finally decided to bite the bullet and purchase a Dometic fridge. Very happy I did... no more melted ice and we get to use the full space vs. 2/3 of it filled with ice. I went with Dometic based on their brand reputation and most importantly the power draw. I can run this off of a Goal Zero Yeti 1000 for 4 days. Average draw is about 10w/hour, far less than most others out there which gives us plenty of run time!

The Igloo ICF 32 its a fair- sized option for a smaller vehicle. I 've had it for about a month and one trip. It has so far held well and worked in both the vehicle as well as indoor. The compressor noise is quite low but is there. The one option that would be useful is a wheel that would allow one person to move the cooler easily. So far no major drawbacks but then I 've just owned it for a month and hopefully this lasts long given it's not so cheap price tag.

[ We bought this a couple weeks ago and have taken it out for a couple weekend camping trips. SUPERB quality, and the cooler maintained set temps, as expected and hoped for, in a very hot southwest climate. We love the removable baskets that allow for easily separating drinks from produce from raw meat, etc. With ample storage space, the cooler can accomodate a variety of items, including large ones. For example, a store bought gallon of water can easily fit in the deeper side of the cooler, with the deep basket separator in place. Which means you could store multiple gallons of water on that one side of the cooler alone if needed/desired. We also chose Tupperware containers that fit the widths of the baskets to further maximize food storage within the cooler. Another plus, the lid of the cooler clicks upon close and seems to have a great and reliable seal to keep cold air in. Sustained temps on the digital screen confirmed that. We are looking forward to putting this Dometic cooler to use over multiple trips this summer. It certainly beats having to purchase several bags of ice for a less expensive cooler, especially when that ice melts and drenches the cooler's contents. Additionally, we can go for longer trips now without having to worry about the temp of our food. Hands down, a fantastic purchase with fantastic features. We would buy it again.

[ I bought this for a camping trip to keep extra food in it because my popup fridge is tiny. I 'm so glad I did because my fridge has been having odd issues. This cooler is easy to use and easy to find what I want in it. The only thing that could make it better is if it included a latch or lock that raccoons can not open. When camping, I like to keep it outside under my awning, but I camp in some remote areas and have wildlife like raccoons frequenting the campground looking for some unsuspecting soul to leave their food unlocked. I managed to come up with an idea to run a coated wire through the handles and secure the lid enough to where an animal can not get the lid high enough to get into it. If they get smart and figure out how to undo the turnbuckle, I 'm in trouble.

I got the ICF60 recently and finally got a chance to use it. I set the cooler to 0F, put about 15 pounds of frozen venison in the cooler, put the cooler inside the car and headed out. Over the course of the 6 hour drive, I never heard a sound from it and I was about 2 feet from it the entire time. About an hour from my destination, I had to unplug the cooler from the cigarette lighter. When I get to my destination, the meat was still frozen and hard as a rock! I was looking for a small cooler for little day trips and things and of course the sticker shock of the yetis was enough to make your head spin.$ 200 and they are n't even made stateside. Took a stroll down the igloo aisle because it was more of my budget and was surprised to see that they were actually made in USA! The cooler itself is great, it's small and easy to bring with you, but big enough that you can still load a decent amount of stuff in it and whether you use ice or the igloo freezer blocks, it does a great job of keeping things cold for a reasonable amount of time. 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend this cooler for small day trips or if you need a lunch box. Outstanding! Purchased the ICF 18 a month ago and used for 8 days straight without any problem. We found our perfect temp was 34 degrees. This cooler was spot on with the temperature although the smaller compartment above the compressor was just a few degrees higher. We opted to use that area for soda cans and items that weren ’ t as sensitive to temperature. The main area kept things really cold. I used a refrigerator thermometer before our trip and felt the internal thermometer was spot on within a degree or two. For longer trips or families the 32( size wise might be better), but we are happy with our choice! The unit was powered with a portable power supply that kept our Igloo running all day while driving with power to spare! To be fair, the Igloo was in a climate controlled car nearly all the time. Hope this helps and we would highly recommend the Igloo ICF 18. It is also very quiet as someone else mentioned. The cooler( fully loaded) was also manageable for a couple of seniors to lift in and out of our car. Good job and Thank you Igloo!!!

If you love cold drinks driving to hot states in the summer or any time this is a great cooler that will do the job. This is highly recommended as opposed to thermoelectric coolers if you need to travel with medication that must be at a certain temperature. The only drawback is that all compressor coolers are heaver by design. The bail handle seems strong enough by design to handle to full weight of the cooler. Where the bail handle attaches to both sides of the cooler body, this is why I gave this cooler 4 stars. It seems to be loose fitting and flimsy at the ends. The handles will just fall down to the sides when let go. The cooling and holding temperature work as designed and the compressor will stay off for about an hour to cool again at the set temp.( 42' F). I recommend the cooler, wish the price was less, great overall satisfaction.

[ Great soft cooler. It rolls with ease and gas extension handle as well as side handles for carrying. The top has a velcro access panel for quick grabs but also zips all the way open. Great for a quick day trip or picnic or day down at the softball fields for drinks. Really enjoy having this.

[ I have never had a soft cover cooler of this size and I wasn ’ t sure how it would keep things cold but it definitely did not disappoint. It fit so much better in my car and worked so much better for our family adventures. Having wheels and so much space makes it so convenient and easy to use and it doesn ’ t weigh much when empty making it easier to store when not being used. Great cooler and nice color.

I requested this for Christmas, absolutely wonderful present. I am senior citizen that camps alone and I was having trouble draining my six day cooler, the location of the drain plug is perfect, I just lean it out the back of my van and drain. The drawer works as stated and keeps food just right. I am looking forward to warm weather to see if it holds up. If it does n't I 'll be back with another review.

Love the cooler! Like the drawer that pulls out as it is very convenient for sandwiches and fruit etc... Also bought the small ice packs snd the divider/cutting board. They are awesome!! The big downside to this cooler is that it does n't have wheels to move it. To fix that issue we bought a collapsible dolly that it fits perfectly on and makes it much easier to move it around.

Fantastic water source for camping. Kept water nice and cold for several days and provided an easy way to refill bottles and camelbaks with ice cold water for hikes. Keep in mind that 8 lbs of ice will take up 1 gallon of volume. If the water is room temperature when you put it in( like those 5 gallon containers you re- fill at the store) then you will need approximately 12 lbs of ice just to even get it cold( with all the ice now melted and none leftover). So I ’ d recommend pairing 24 lbs of ice with 3 gallons of room temperature water. That should leave you with roughly 4. 5 gallons of ice cold water and 12 lbs of ice to make sure it stays cold.

While the Silo is a great product. I sure wish they would offer them in colors like everything else. Reliable and effective like every other Yeti cooler. We take this to the beach and use it for margaritas. Love it! Easy to clean and stays cold all day, even when the margaritas don ’ t last that long.
