The Igloo ICF 32 its a fair- sized option for a smaller vehicle. I 've had it for about a month and one trip. It has so far held well and worked in both the vehicle as well as indoor. The compressor noise is quite low but is there. The one option that would be useful is a wheel that would allow one person to move the cooler easily. So far no major drawbacks but then I 've just owned it for a month and hopefully this lasts long given it's not so cheap price tag.

I got the ICF60 recently and finally got a chance to use it. I set the cooler to 0F, put about 15 pounds of frozen venison in the cooler, put the cooler inside the car and headed out. Over the course of the 6 hour drive, I never heard a sound from it and I was about 2 feet from it the entire time. About an hour from my destination, I had to unplug the cooler from the cigarette lighter. When I get to my destination, the meat was still frozen and hard as a rock! Bought one with a build date of dec 2023 and one of the compartments did not seal properly. Returned it and bought a unit with a build date of February 2024. This one seals properly and cools both sections down at the same rate. On a river 2 pro I got about 70 hours of runtime from 98 to 0. Both sections set to 30 degrees, this lines up with other power consumption tests of other domestic fridges showing an average of 11wh usage per hour. You can double check to make sure your unit is sealing properly by placing a bright light inside and then closing the door, if you see light coming through then it is not sealing properly

Outstanding! Purchased the ICF 18 a month ago and used for 8 days straight without any problem. We found our perfect temp was 34 degrees. This cooler was spot on with the temperature although the smaller compartment above the compressor was just a few degrees higher. We opted to use that area for soda cans and items that weren ’ t as sensitive to temperature. The main area kept things really cold. I used a refrigerator thermometer before our trip and felt the internal thermometer was spot on within a degree or two. For longer trips or families the 32( size wise might be better), but we are happy with our choice! The unit was powered with a portable power supply that kept our Igloo running all day while driving with power to spare! To be fair, the Igloo was in a climate controlled car nearly all the time. Hope this helps and we would highly recommend the Igloo ICF 18. It is also very quiet as someone else mentioned. The cooler( fully loaded) was also manageable for a couple of seniors to lift in and out of our car. Good job and Thank you Igloo!!!

If you love cold drinks driving to hot states in the summer or any time this is a great cooler that will do the job. This is highly recommended as opposed to thermoelectric coolers if you need to travel with medication that must be at a certain temperature. The only drawback is that all compressor coolers are heaver by design. The bail handle seems strong enough by design to handle to full weight of the cooler. Where the bail handle attaches to both sides of the cooler body, this is why I gave this cooler 4 stars. It seems to be loose fitting and flimsy at the ends. The handles will just fall down to the sides when let go. The cooling and holding temperature work as designed and the compressor will stay off for about an hour to cool again at the set temp.( 42' F). I recommend the cooler, wish the price was less, great overall satisfaction.

I have not been able to put the cooler to the test in the water, but it seems really sturdy and large enough to not tip over. It has a large storage area that can easily accommodate 4 6- packs of beverages. The beverage holders are nice and deep to keep individual drinks upright. Very happy I did... no more melted ice and we get to use the full space vs. 2/3 of it filled with ice. I went with Dometic based on their brand reputation and most importantly the power draw. I can run this off of a Goal Zero Yeti 1000 for 4 days. Average draw is about 10w/hour, far less than most others out there which gives us plenty of run time!

[ We bought this a couple weeks ago and have taken it out for a couple weekend camping trips. SUPERB quality, and the cooler maintained set temps, as expected and hoped for, in a very hot southwest climate. We love the removable baskets that allow for easily separating drinks from produce from raw meat, etc. With ample storage space, the cooler can accomodate a variety of items, including large ones. For example, a store bought gallon of water can easily fit in the deeper side of the cooler, with the deep basket separator in place. Which means you could store multiple gallons of water on that one side of the cooler alone if needed/desired. We also chose Tupperware containers that fit the widths of the baskets to further maximize food storage within the cooler. Another plus, the lid of the cooler clicks upon close and seems to have a great and reliable seal to keep cold air in. Sustained temps on the digital screen confirmed that. We are looking forward to putting this Dometic cooler to use over multiple trips this summer. It certainly beats having to purchase several bags of ice for a less expensive cooler, especially when that ice melts and drenches the cooler's contents. Additionally, we can go for longer trips now without having to worry about the temp of our food. Hands down, a fantastic purchase with fantastic features. We would buy it again.

[ I bought this for a camping trip to keep extra food in it because my popup fridge is tiny. I 'm so glad I did because my fridge has been having odd issues. This cooler is easy to use and easy to find what I want in it. The only thing that could make it better is if it included a latch or lock that raccoons can not open. When camping, I like to keep it outside under my awning, but I camp in some remote areas and have wildlife like raccoons frequenting the campground looking for some unsuspecting soul to leave their food unlocked. I managed to come up with an idea to run a coated wire through the handles and secure the lid enough to where an animal can not get the lid high enough to get into it. If they get smart and figure out how to undo the turnbuckle, I 'm in trouble.
