I 'm glad I took the risk because though I do find it helps to make use of a shoe horn to ease putting them on, with thin running socks they fit just right! Snug but not too tight. I have arthritic knees, and these have the perfect combination of cushion and stability for walking on a variety of terrain, from light hiking trails to gravel to sidewalk. I had wished for different color options, but when they arrived I found the salmon color quite striking, so I 'm quite pleased with that in the end too.

These shoes are incredible, I ’ d never owned a pair of docs before but am an avid croc wearer. Im a size 11 AU womens who has wide feet and these fit perfectly there ’s no pain with wear and they are so comfortable and soft and pillowy. My go to every day shoe. They are super versatile and comfy. I wear these to work with jeans, skirts, athleisure style slacks- they go with everything. I personally love the chunky look of them and the white leather makes them more fashion- forward and versatile. I wore them everyday straight for a week in Europe and had no reason to switch to my other shoes. They wipe clean easily too. These are not my favorite Brooks shoes for running, but definitely my favorite for daily wear comfort and style. Stiffer at first then other ghost max but they loosen a bit with wear. The leather is also less breathable than other materials, but worth it to me.

[ I highly recommend going to a store that carries Ariat boots so you can try them on to find your size. I bought the tack room chocolate and I am loving the color. The pink is brighter in person than on a screen, which for me is a huge plus!
