I was in the market for new boots. Heard through the grapevine that i should give this brand a chance. Got them as a gift and i am beyond ecstatic. The boots fit me well( run a little big, but not a con) and the inner sole is almost heavenly. I work in a warehouse where i stand on concrete 8 hours a day. I normally add an extra insert for added support, but there really is no need for these boots. While mainly for work, i definitely want to get the most out of these boots, but i must say that these particular boots i have are not cut out for hiking. Not a con in the least bit, though a bit of a bummer in the long run. So after spending about 40 hours over a few days in these boots, i am very happy with my georgia boots.

I have fairly narrow feet and these fit perfectly and are very comfortable. You ca n't even tell they have a steel toe. My only complaint is the top lace grommet. It has a different type of hook so it is a little difficult to get the lace in it when it is pulled out. I still rate this as Excellent though.

Worth the money, for me they lasted little over than a year but I work 12 hour shifts between 40- 60 hrs a week in a recycling plant in AZ and we are exposed to kinda harsh conditions daily( dry/dusty areas and wet areas with puddles too), not too mention the +100 degree summer temps we get so they worked fine for me. I needed something that was n't big and clunky, but still protective. Also something that is good for standing on concrete. I bought these boots 4 years ago and they held up very well against all the abuse I put them through working at a lumberyard. The insoles are like walking on clouds, the boots never let water in, and the toe let's you get a pretty good kick in on whatever piece of lumber is n't going quite where it should be. I bought these for work, but they eventually just became my go to shoes because of how comfortable they are. I wore them everywhere, work, the grocery store, dates with the wife, you name it, those boots were there. The only reason I got rid of them was because the bottom sole tore itself off of the rest of the boot. I guess all good thing do have to come to an end eventually... Overall, very very nice boots, I recommend them to everyone that asks.

Had these for over a year now and there are a lot of hard hours on them. They are still my go to but the tread is almost gone, but still plenty of traction. Initially I purchased them just for work but I like them so much they are all I wear. I have to admit the yellow over molded rubber on the sole looks nice but it sheds pretty easily and that was a disappointment but they have been such a good boot that I still give 5 stars. My only gripe is that my little toe on my big ol wide foot hangs just behind the steel toe section. If I kick anything with the toe of the shoe, the steel cap jams into the tip of my little toe. Great boot! Hold up to wear and tear that other high end boots we have bought. My husband can be very hard on his shoes and these are wonderful. He has two pairs in order to alternate and let the other dry out. He is in these all day long.

The Georgia Boots whether they are laced or slip on are so worth buying. Excellent workmanship and material! I love wearing mine around the farm an when gardening doing outside work. Great protection with the steel toe. I highly recommend these boots for anyone male/female!

There is no break in period. They are really comfortable.

I have worn this boot( many pair) for several decades. I would not even consider purchasing a different boot. I recommend this to friends and co- workers all the time.

Through a previous job I purchased the `` Hammer '' style boots and loved them enough that now that it's my own money, I would n't spend it on anything but these boots! After a 14 hour day on my feet I was in no hurry to get them off when I got home. To me that says a mouthful, not to mention all the times I put these boots to the test( accidental of course) and and I remain in tact and never a foot injury with this boot. I 'm purchasing my 8th pair over 20 years and I 'll be back when it's time again.

I work in a coal yard and never owned metatarsal boots before. So I bought a pair of red wings and these. These boots hands down are 10x better. They are light and the most comfortable boot I have owned in a long time. I will definitely be purchasing a second pair!!

i have had these boots about 3 years and the sole is about worn out now. they are extremely comfortable and do n't need much breaking in at all. Went and tried out some new boots today and mine still feel better. love these boots and will buy another pair. the one issue is that the sole is in layers and it does tend to flake off towards the end of their lifespan. amazing pair of boots and you will not be disappointed.
