They are a good length, maybe a little bit too wide, so not perfect but better than the size 9. They are very comfortable. I wore these everyday of the 2 week trip and couldn ’ t be happier. If you have ever visited Europe, you will know that a good portion of their streets and sidewalks are uneven stones but these sandals held up to the challenge. My feet and ankles were safely and securely strapped in. The gold leather were also a prettier version of the typical brown leather sandals most people wear. One comment…. the strap that goes around the ankle is quite long and the Velcro almost misses connecting. It ’s fine if you have thicker ankles but if yours are very thin, it could be a problem.
