Fast. Currently running in Invincible 3s and Infinity Rn4s, I actually bought these just to have. As an older runner with knee arthritis, I need good cushion. I tried these out on a 6 mile treadmill run and wow- these shoes are quick!! There is great support and the sole is perfect no matter where your foot strikes.( I ’ m a mid- forefoot striker). Well. I bought 4 pairs. These are everything I was hoping for. Essentially a springy, barefoot run with great energy return. All have worn well unless I try to take them off without undoing the laces, or scrape them on concrete. I wear mine daily. I have narrow feet with exceptionally high arches. As for this model compared to the Alphafly 2 and original…they improved them tremendously. They are snug without pressure, better foam profile, and the lacing system doesn ’ t untie easily. My first run in these AF3s was a shakeout before a half marathon. Was concerned as the shoes squeaked for about 2. 5 miles but that finally subsided. I love these shoes. Super comfy and very light. My one and only concern is the ankle area. I absolutely love these shoes! I ’ m prone to getting blisters but that isn ’ t a problem any more with these shoes. They are super lightweight, comfy, cushioned but still give you that bounce from the carbon plate. I feel like my runs are lighter and faster. I font feel any shock when I hit the ground so it feels like walking/running on clouds. I can not recommend these shoes enough! I plan on using these for race day. They are so comfy for longer runs and faster speed runs.

This is my first purchase of On shoes-- I generally buy cheaper shoes but then have to use inserts after about a month to maintain comfort. These were more pricy than I usually buy, but they were on sale, and so far I have zero regrets.- They are very comfortable. I do n't even notice them.- They are lighter colored and I am clumsy; I expected them to be stained within a couple days. I have been pleased to find that dirt/grime/spills wipe off of them easily.- I can be on my feet all day and my feet are n't tired To be honest, the only `` complaint '' I have so far is that the laces do n't stay tied all the time. Sometimes I have to retie them. I can live with that. Also( and this has nothing to do with the shoes) this is the first time I 've ever ordered from Dick 's and they made the ordering and delivery process a pleasure. I would 10/10 order from Dick 's Sporting Goods again.

The Gel- Nimbus 27 is very comfortable. I have MS so I need a shoe with stability, and a sole that cushions every step. I usually wear a shoe size 5 1/2 but Asics styles usually fit me in a size 6. I wish their were additional color options but none of the colors are gaudy.

I purchased both Hoka Bondi 9 and the Skyward. The support is Awesome but my feet tend to get tired faster in the Skyward as opose to the bondi 9. I do 12 hour days, the arch support is great in these i have high foot arche. I do not have leg or knee trouble when wearing the Hokas. At first I thought I needed a half size smaller than normal but after trying definetly true to size.

I love these shoes! I had two pairs of the 5s. The rubber did come off on the bottom the first week but I superglued it back on. I hiked the Tour du Mont Blanc in these babies and they did great! Love the extra cushioning and durability. Will definitely buy them again for my next long hike. The extra cushioning prevented any foot pain. I 'd say they lasted a whole summer of maybe 200 miles of hiking!

[ I have been using the Altra Olympus 6 for hiking, running, and fastpacking. This is my first time trying a full- cushion trail shoe, but I have been road running in the Altra Torin for about 6 years. After about 25 miles of mixed terrain, weather and landscapes, I feel this shoe excels in climbing and tackling dry, loose terrain. I felt stable and powerful sprinting up sandy hillsides and dusty singletrack. The shoe absorbs the impact of large gravel, and bites into turns well. I slid around a bit on large wet roots and slick rocks under the stiff midfoot but recovered quickly and happily traded that for the protection from sharp obstacles. The high stack kept my feet dry when encountering mud and puddles, while the well ventilated upper kept me comfortable on long, hot days. The contoured form around the Achilles took a little getting used to, but it worked to lock my heel on ascents; no hot spots. Laces stay tied. Altra gave me this free product to try, and I 'm looking forward to putting many more miles on it.

[ All I run in is Altra 's, so I was stoked when Altra gave me this free product to try. The Olympus 6 's look a bit like oversize clown shoes, however, they are SO comfortable I just love running in them! Recently, I was running up a muddy hill along Minnehaha Creek in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and some guy and his dog tried to run up the same hill, and he started sliding down it! I reached my hand out to help him get up the hill, and so he grabbed onto it, and the grip of these shoes was nearly strong enough to hold up him and me, but eventually he started to drag me down the hill with him, so I yelled at him to let go, as he propelled up. It was reaffirming to me though how well these Olympus 6 's performed compared to other trail shoes- especially on the wet/muddy ground! These Olympus 6 's have one heck of a grip! The colors are decent( I always prefer men 's colors to women 's, but the women 's are okay on this model shoe). The heel is a bit large on me, and the shoes look silly on my skinny legs, but these really are super comfortable shoes that still feel pretty lightweight( all things considered) and really do perform well! For someone looking for a high cushioned shoe with good traction, I 'd highly recommend the Olympus 6 's. Thanks Altra for providing these shoes for free to me so I could review them. I sure do love them!
