I ’ ve bought Reebok Nano 6 ’s for years and they ’ ve been great for CrossFit workouts. I recently switched to more HIIT workouts and really felt the need for more cushioning- especially going from box jumps to sprints and more. I bought the metcons in both 8. 5( my normal size) and 9 ’s as people said to size up. They were comfortable and had more cushioning yet the same stability as my metcons but the sizing was a bit weird. My normal size felt a little bit tighter/smaller but the 9 ’s felt huge. I stuck with my normal size and did my first HIIT workout and they were SOLID. Super comfortable, stable for heavy lifts, and most importantly didnt feel tight. Definitely my new favorite shoe. Highly recommended.

I am a size 7. 5 and generally wear an 8 in Nike sneakers( Pegasus, etc.) so that I have room in the toes in case my feet swell a little from heat or hiking, etc. I ordered the Metcon in my normal Nike size of 8 and my big toe is basically at the tip of the shoe, so I need to exchange them for an 8. 5. If I was using them for hiking or anything I thought would make my feet swell, I might even size up to a 9 which would be absolutely wild! The GT Hustle 3 's are probably the best basketball shoes I 've ever owned, but they might not be for everyone. If you prefer low- to- the- ground cushioning or have large- volume feet( wide, etc.), these may not be ideal for you. However, if you need excellent cushioning and have low- volume feet( narrow, etc.), these could be perfect. The support of these shoes is incredible. I can make hard cuts and stops with great stability. When laced tightly, they are super comfortable with no pinch points. They have a cushy running shoe feel during full- court transitions but are definitely tuned for basketball. My only complaint is the tongue, which curls on the sides. Fortunately, this does n't affect comfort or gameplay, so no stars off for that.

I love these shoes. I was a mega fan of the SL2. 0 with the Continental rubber sole. The one difference I noticed is the sole. I ran in the SL2 after some rain and the traction was precarious. Similar to other shoes models that have been updated without the Continental soles, I did not feel comfortable running in these shoes with any moisture on the pavement. I was afraid of tweaking my knee or ankle. Otherwise, these are nice and light with enough cushion and pep.

In addition to compression socks, I 'm able to accomplish more and work longer. It was recommended that I try the Hokas gaviota but it over corrected my arch and caused additional pain. This is my first pair of proper running shoes and I love them so far! Used to run in some old Asics I got on clearance, but now that I ’ m getting into running more consistently I bought these. I have very flat feet and collapsed arches, and these were recommended for me because of their supportive centre path tech. The first 5k i ran in these I got nasty blisters on the insides of the my feet where my arch was being held up. If this is the case for you, don ’ t give up on these shoes yet. I wish I had broken them in more slowly but they are super comfortable now. Ran my first 10K in these shoes, something I never thought I ’ d be able to do after having some pretty nasty shin splints and knee pain from playing soccer my whole life. I totally recommend these to any fellow flat footed runner, especially if you ’ re just starting out. I ’ ve taken them on trails, pavement, track, and they feel fantastic.
