This water bottle is very well built. It keeps my water cold all day long and I appreciate the size of the 64 oz. I only have to refill once a day to stay pretty hydrated. Only concern is sometimes getting the second drinking cap off to fill up the bottle. If you take it off regularly you should be in good shape for opening pickle jars.

This is a great alternative to the standard lid. The standard lid is great for drinking and refilling during normal usage. I got this for my son to use while he is on a week- long sailing trip this summer. With the Tether Cap, he will no longer have to worry about the top part of the standard cap falling overboard.
