The best all around lure i have used. It has great action with the flip tail. Purchased at Dicks because of grand opening and had a coupon. Their normal prices are about$ 1. 00 more than other retailers in the area. Will continue to purchase at other outlets until Dicks lowers their prices to meet the competition.

5 Marc
Long- lasting product, bass do LOVE EM. Zoom does make good fishing products.

5 catch12
Been using swimming flukes since they came out... have caught bass, snook, reds and speckled trout. Use them as a swimbait Texas rigged with a pegged bullet weight. Use them weightless worked real slow and easy, just twitch them or bring to the top and let them sink back down to the bottom or buzz them on top. You can go fishing with only this bait and always catch fish. Houdini is my favorite color... What a bait!!

5 BogMountain
I have switched to the Zoom Swimmin' Super Fluke as my `` go to '' bait for both small and largemouth bass fishing. They can be very effectively fished as a surface bait in very thick aquatic vegetation and are extremely effective when fished that way for largemouth bass. They can also be fished as a `` wake bait '' or fished more slowly as a subsurface bait. My favorite colors are Baby Bass, Pearl, and Houdini. You need to have several bags of these in your arsenal!

My go to bait when fishing slows. I fish almost every day, and very rarely do I get shut out using this bait. One of the best on the market. A couple of jerks, then a slight pause almost always triggers strikes. Never leave home without it.

One of my favorite lures for jigging, I usually match it with a 2oz Jig head. Great for stripers and weakfish. Bluefish usually terrorize these lures so I buy multiple packs.

Frequently Asked Questions For Zoom Bait Super Fluke

Soft jerkbaits are versatile lures that mimic the movement of baitfish, making them effective for attracting a variety of game fish. Their soft texture allows for a natural presentation in the water, enhancing the chances of a strike. Additionally, they can be fished in various ways, such as twitching, swimming, or letting them sink, providing anglers with multiple techniques to adapt to different fishing conditions.

Soft jerkbaits are highly effective in both freshwater and saltwater environments. They work well in lakes, rivers, and coastal areas, particularly around structures like rocks, weeds, and docks where fish tend to hide. Their ability to be fished at various depths makes them suitable for different seasons and water conditions, allowing anglers to target fish effectively throughout the year.

The size of a soft jerkbait can significantly influence its effectiveness based on the target species and fishing conditions. Smaller sizes are often better for targeting panfish and smaller bass, while larger sizes can attract bigger game fish. Additionally, the size can affect the lure's action and how it is perceived by fish, so selecting the right size for your fishing scenario is crucial for success.

Color selection for soft jerkbaits should be based on water clarity and the type of forage present. In clear water, natural colors like shad or green pumpkin tend to work best, while brighter colors like chartreuse or pink can be effective in murky water. Matching the hatch or choosing colors that contrast with the environment can help increase visibility and attract fish.

To fish soft jerkbaits effectively, anglers can use a variety of techniques such as twitching, steady retrieves, or a stop-and-go method. Varying the speed and rhythm of the retrieve can help mimic the erratic movement of injured baitfish, enticing strikes. Additionally, incorporating pauses during the retrieve can create a more lifelike presentation, increasing the chances of attracting fish.
