The 5 ” length is perfect for me as it ’s long enough to not ride up my thighs when I walk/workout. The fabric feels soft and supportive which is exactly what I look for in clothes I ’ ll be moving a lot in. I love that these shorts are high waisted as well, it gives me that nice snatched feeling and there is no issue with the waist band rolling when you move around. I am usually an XL in Nike bottoms and the XL size for these shorts fit perfectly. So far I have worn them for strength training, running, and walking indoors. These are my daily go- to capris. I ordered this pair because I know my original pair will eventually wear out, although when I pulled them both out of the wash, I could not tell them apart. The knees do not even bag! My original reason for choosing this particular item was the cellphone pocket. This is a must for me. I am amazed that my phone does not cause these capris to sag, even on a cardio walk. The fabric does not wick so I do have to change after vigorous exercise but they are fine for everyday wear. I don ’ t really like to buy clothing with tight elastic bands on the waist and prefer a little bit longer in length. But it ’ d be ok for a short workout. I like the fabric.
