[ I 've had dozens of running shoes in the past and this is probably my all time favorite. Springy, light, comfortable. Considerably more lively than my Boston 12s. Probably destined to last a while too based on the Lightstrike Pro shoes I 've had in the past. Upper so comfortable I took it out for an HM for their second run without issue. I have a somewhat wide foot and historically Adidas shoes have needed a little breaking in around the little toe to work for me. Not so on these, but I could see the upper being a bit roomy for those with narrow feet. Great grip from the outsole, as expected for a modern Adidas shoe. If I needed to come up with a complaint, I wish the tongue was gusseted so it did n't move around when I was putting on the shoe.

I purchased my Cloudmonster 2 shoes as an introduction to the On brand, along with the Cloudswift 4 ’s. I have to say these Cloudmonster 2 shoes are in fact livid to their name. Running in these as a larger person is very comfortable and effortless, allowing quicker paces to be achieved without fatigue, while wearing as a daily shoe is very comforting and damping. I ’ m overall very satisfied, and only have a minor concern to wear on the sole long term. I love the Vent Tech shorts for how breezy and light weight they are. It is nice that they do not ride up when jogging. I do wish they had rear pockets, but that is the only complaint I have about them. I wear a 36 waist in jeans and I order large in these.

I wear these over my compression base layer. They are perfect lightweight fabric that is extremely stretchy while not getting heavy once saturated with sweat. They dont restrict movement at all. I tried every high end pair of running shorts on the market and ended up with UA Tech Vents over UA compression shorts. I feel so strong in these it makes me want to get in the gym and run. This combination is especially helpful if you are still have some extra weight.
