I will say these run a little big as there is some extra fabric in the back of the waist. I would size down 1 size as they are also stretchy. There is a button closure as well as a hook and zipper. I 've taken to wearing them to work as they are great for business/casual. I really enjoy the large front and back pockets so one can actually use them to hold things.
