I 'm usually a large men's and a medium fit me perfectly and very loose which is what I wanted. I needed substantial weight and space for my workouts- I noticed shoulders were getting tighter on my other shirts and this gave me space to breathe. If you have wide hips or a belly the cut is generous and wo n't hug down low either. Breathes well even in hot weather( i do n't get overheated while wearing it) but this is not a performance shirt so if you need the best I 'd recommend a thinner fabric. 10/10- I bought 3 and immediately bought 2 more. Best long- sleeve top I ’ ve ever used. I wear this top for treadmill running and general workout exercises in my garage. It keeps me warm during cooler months and wicks away sweat when it ’s warmer. It ’s going to be an ideal extra layer during winter months. Being short( 5 ’ 3 ”) and of slight build, the small size top is marginally loose on me, nevertheless it is very comfortable to wear. The sleeves are long for my height, so I trimmed and sewed to a more suitable length. I am very pleased with this excellent top.
