I was on the hunt for leggings that were( a) seamless and( b) made from mostly recycled materials. I 'm overall happy with my purchase and will be keeping them! But I have a couple notes. One thing is that, even though they are seamless in the front like I wanted, there's a faux seam that appears on the outside of the leggings( but not on the inside). I do n't mind this and it does n't make them fit differently than a truly seamless legging, but I did n't realize this when I was looking at the product photos. A second note is that these are short on me; at 5'11 '', they fit like a 7/8 rather than a full length legging. Again, I do n't really mind, but just something to know. Lastly, these were tricky to get on; I had to treat them like tights when I was putting them on to avoid ripping them. According to the size chart I 'm solidly a size L, and they do feel super comfy once I 've got them on, but it was a struggle. So if you 're on the high end of the size chart I 'd go up a size.

This set is overall one of the best winter base layer fits I ’ ve had the chance to try out in the elements( as of yet). The fleecy layer inside isn ’ t too thick, so it will keep you decently warm while not feeling overly constricting( it won ’ t ruin or take away from your outfit either). If I was to give constructive feedback on anything, it would be that they are a little short in length( mind you, I ’ m 5 ’ 11 ”). So, I ’ m really not picky about that kind of thing( for leggings in particular). Especially as they do have a bit of stretch. I would say that they are relatively true to size, maybe size down if you ’ re on the more petite side of the spectrum.

I had an old pair of UA compression leggings that I have been looking to all the running companies to try to find something comparable in fit, feel, pocket... and have not been able to. The only issue with that old pair is that they would fall down until I started sweating, then they would stay in place. Also, they are very lightweight and I needed something warmer. So I came back to UA to see what else they have to offer and found the Vanish Cold Weather leggings, they looked like the same fit as my old leggings, I decided to give them a try. Well what I thought could n't get better is so much better! They do n't fall down AT ALL, they have added warm panels where needed, and they have TWO pockets instead of the one so I can alternate what leg my phone is on. These babies move with me like I never thought possible- I usually have a tough time with the shape of leggings... too tight in the wrong places, too loose in other wrong places, but these hug just right with no extra material bunching and no digging. I do n't want any other pants.
