These pants are extremely flattering, but I am not a curvy girl... I 'm more straight- shaped. I could see why a curvy figure would have some issues with the waistband. The inside is very soft and will hold warmth if you wear these outside during cold weather. The material also does n't snag your fingernails or itch your skin. Loose fitting where you want them in the thighs providing flexibility if you are often kneeling or crouching. They do have a slight dye smell which was detected before washing but was gone after 1 wash cycle. I would n't change one thing about these pants!! I 'd recommend for active and lounge wear alike.
