Very nice fabric, I love all of the garden island and hemp fabrics from patagonia. This is super oversized, I ordered a size down to a medium and it is still big on me. I have a B bust so I ’ d recommend buying based on your bust size and not hip size. I have large hips and I sometimes have a hard time wearing large bottoms, there ’s plenty of room for my 45in hips in the medium. It ’s super low cut and so I ’ ll probably modify it per patagonias recommendations on their site to make the straps a bit shorter.

I purchased this hoodie for sun protection on a recent 9- day backpacking trip. I bought the light grey colour because I thought it could double as bug protection, since the mosquitoes were horrendous. I really liked how feather- light it was, it dried fast and the hood was great when the bugs were fierce. Furthermore, all the bug/blood/sweat stains cleaned up nicely after the trip and it looks good as new! As for durability and wind- proofness, I will bring it on my next two canoe trips this July and report back:)

The small fit fine, but I prefer a looser fit for layering and breathability:) And because this is a sun shirt, looser fit is best for the fabric to keep out sun rays, anyways. The ONLY thing I would change about this: please move the pocket to the chest or somewhere more useful. It's on the right hip and goes backwards which is strange and not natural at all, I really dislike it. I 'd prefer it be on the chest( like the men's version) or even still on the hip but a zippered drop pocket( like the Freewheel Hoodie).

Sleeves are good length but would n't have minded another inch. Thumb holes would have been nice. I have to maneuver a little to get it over my chest( 46 inch) but it's not a problem, just noticeable. The material has a nice stretch to it. Might have a shirt on underneath or nothing under depending on temperature and wind. Love the hood fit with or without a hat. Zipped up the hood stays on well. Zippers work well. I 've washed it several times now and the material and color still look new. Washing on delicate and hang dry. I like it so much I might get another.

But I 've noticed that the brief part has gotten smaller with updates, and the elastic waistband irritates me. I 'm also in between sizes in Nike( XXL is too big, XL is uncomfortably small). I ’ ve been wearing this every time I drive to my elderly mother ’s house( 4 hours away). This summer has been disgustingly hot, but the white color helps deflect the sun and I don ’ t have to slather my entire upper body in sunscreen when I wear it. I can also stick my thumbs in the thumb holes and cover most of my hands. Sorry about their review title, I couldn ’ t help myself. Lol grate pants, fit well at the waist down to the knee but cut quite slim at the calf. Every time I get up from sitting or get out of the car or off my motorcycle. I have to do the pull my pant leg down with the other foot routine. Not a big deal. Just a bit annoying. It ’s made of a very light material that will be sweat- wicking when it ’s hot, so it will be perfect for a range of summer activities from tennis and biking to farmers markets and festivals. I usually have a problem with dresses being too short- waisted, but this elastic waist hits in the right spot and doesn ’ t ride up.
