I normally wear hats in the winter but wanted a headband so that I could keep my ears warm when I have my hair up. Black goes with everything and the logo is also in black so it's kind of discreet. If you did n't really want that sporty look. The sherpa fleece is super soft and extremely warm and I have a small head and this fits perfectly... I do n't necessarily think it would stretch an awful lot if you have a larger head, so I would keep that in mind if you 're considering purchasing this.

Wish Carhartt still offered the fleece stocking cap with a single layer. Not so toasty so I can work hard like shoveling snow without sweating like the double thick cap would cause. This Micro Clava is the perfect thickness for a person who is seldom cold and bleeds a lot of heat, so when it is cold enough to require head and neck covering this hood fits the bill perfectly.
