[ So I have a supremely difficult time finding pants of any kind. I 'm short( 5' 3 '') and pear- shaped; wide hips and a big butt. When I bump into counters or chairs, I surprise myself. If you 're like me, it's a particular kind of misery. And if you 're like me, when you try on a pair of pants that fit you, and do n't slide down giving you saggy crotch, you want every color and maybe back ups. For me, this is that pair of snow pants. These feel great, look great, and I 'm so glad I got them. They 're very thin, so definitely for the warmer days. The Columbia's recommended size for me was M short, but short was unavailable. I 've also been duped by the auto- size recommendations, so I bought these in both M regular and L regular. The M's were tight on my butt, but the L's were comically large. Like there was no- point- in- zipping- them- huge. I 'm keeping the mediums, and will continue to dream of dropping a pound. They are a bit tight in the upper leg joint area when I sit or lift my leg up, but it's not that big of a deal. I 'm not rock- climbing or doing yoga in these things. I LOVE the adjustable waist, omg, what brilliance. That may sell these alone! The length is a bit long for me, but with boots on, I do n't think that will matter too much. I was surprised that the elastic around the ankles was so loose, but maybe that's how they 're supposed to be to fit around boots... just seemed too loose. Overall, great pants.

This is a lovely padded warm ski pant! We went skiing in- 15 weather& it held up great! One day was rainy& while my daughter's Patagonia pants looked wet, the water bubbled off these pants& kept me dry, it's definitely waterproof! I love the waistband, it's a soft material that hugs the lower back& the sides have Velcro straps to tighten. I wish they went a little higher up the waist for my own preference, but they sit nicely and I tucked several layers without issues. It runs true to size, I 'm an XS and still had plenty of room for 2 legging layers underneath. I purchased the matching jacket( both black) and the combo was warm& waterproof. I wish there were more fun/vibrant color options:) but definitely worth the investment for cold days& activities.

I love the fit on these pants! I am a size 6- 8 and the M fits perfect! I like them more snug because they are more flattering& I do not feel like a marshmallow. These are warmer than my North Face snoga pant and just as flattering. I can wear a think wool layer underneath on cold days. I find Roxy brand to run on the smaller size, so size up if you are unsure. I would say they are a juniors sizing not ladies. I personally like the high waist& elastic waistband for curvy figures- it keeps the snow out if you take a tumble.

The ski pants is true to the size for very slim fit; I 'm 5'11 '', 140lbs, and I can fit a medium weight base layer legging into M size( if you stature is about the same, do n't go for L, it 'll be way too loose, almost like regular/goofy fit). The material is also fairly stretchy, unlike some more waterproof/hardcore surface. It's not insulated with down/etc. but it has an inner fleece and is relatively warm. The design is really good, if you are looking for something flattering and can show off your leg.

I was very wary to buy these seeing the poor reviews, but by using the Obermeyer Size chart from their site, my measurements to size fit perfectly... and I have THICK thighs! I ordered both 10 and 12 just in case, but the 10 fit best. They are warm, insulated, the zippers are high quality and they have a very handy velcro cinch at the back to tighten just right. I am 5 ’ 5 ”- 155lbs and loose measurements are Waist 29 ”& Hip 41 ”. Because my thighs were my highest concern, and are for many ladies, they are each 24. 5 ” around. Size 10 fit comfortably. See pics! Only drawback is I wanted to match my new Obermeyer Cosima Jacket in Varsity Blue. The color is close but not a true match, see last photo.

No snow or cold at my waist band, or cutting into my gut when knees come up. The price point is reasonable and good value. Function and fashion.( I now have two colors and alternate with jackets.) Leg zips to open when hiking or warm; lined and space for underlayers on brutal cold days. The long side- zip allows keeping the shoulders on while I use the toilet. In the front pocket, I can store the phone and anything else needed; it has a zip close and an internal mesh sleeve. The cuffs have a cinch so I do n't trash the pant hem, dragging on the ground. I am 66 '' tall, abut a size 6 and wear the size small- it could certainly fit a taller person too, with plenty of space in the elastic shoulder straps( and cuffs).

The four stars because the Wrought Iron on the website and looks like a khaki color when in fact it is a light green sage. I wanted khaki. I still like the pant but who names a pant Wrought Iron when it should of been called Sage?

I raved about these bibs all week on a trip to the alps! Very comfortable material for snow outerwear yet suitably waterproof. I don ’ t think the picture does them justice. They look and feel much higher quality in person. I spent 5 hours researching bibs and ultimately went with these for the relaxed fit, features, price, color, and moderate amount of insulation. I like the narrower shoulders and the thigh vents were a savior on warmer days. I like the variety of zipper, button, and Velcro pockets too. I was worried about the regular being too long because I ’ m 5 ’ 0 ” but they were perfect in ski boots! Too long for hiking unfortunately. 10/10 recommend.

I like the bibs much more than I liked the jacket counterpart. They are pretty waterproof and warm. I like the amount of pockets and storage options. The only thing I don ’ t love about these is the lack of insulation. These are not nearly as insulated as I would have liked them to be. For the price I would say they are definitely worth the purchase.

These are really nice, thick, snug ski pants, but if you carry your weight in your hips and thighs, order up a size. I got them on, but was afraid I would break the zipper if I tried to force it. I know they are supposed to be snug, but I had to return my normal pant size and go up one. Cant wait for the bigger pair.

These snowpants however they updated them are perfect for my muscular thighs. I ’ m 5 ’ 8 ” 165lbs and wear a medium with room in bum area and thighs not super tight I can bend and move. I ’ m excited this fit is solid. Selling my other Stio pants I have because this fit is waaaaaay better. Design team A+ for fit girls that have muscle!

These Women's Doublecharge Insulated Pants are fantastic. They are insulated, but not bulky. For really cold days, they are perfect with a base layer pant. These are great snow pants, nice waterproof for those days when the snow maybe a little on the wet side. They are also warm so you do n't have to have a ton of layers under them. Only complaint is I wish the waist had more adjustment, but there is a belt loop.
