Men's Freedom pants have been a go to staple for many years. Fit is loose but not baggy and allows for full mobility on the slopes. Durable and always a good variety of color options. I have several pairs. I 'm 6' 34 waist and the large fits great.

The Champion Duofold Men's Varitherm Expedition long johns are the best! A little pricey compared to some others, but you get what you pay for. I love the thickness, double layered. They keep my family warm during Winter sports. These `` Expedition '' pants are enough to wear under your snow pants... no need for another layer of sweatpants, etc. This brand, style is the ONLY one I have purchased since I became aware of them... I believe that's been over two decades! Now, I 'm buying them for my grandchildren!

[ I love this pants! I was looking for a while to replace my old snow pants! I tried different brands, they were either material is not impressive or the fitting is really off and uncomfortable, until I found this pants! I try and love it immediately!

[ I was torn between buying M and L, ended up ordering a L long. I ’ m about 41- 42 ” hips, and the pants definitely fit on the bigger side: adjustable tabs as tight as they get, and still easily go over jeans or multiple layers with plenty extra room. I usually wear 33- 34 ” inseam, and the long version fits very well. I ’ m going to keep the L for easy trips to the rink or sledding hill, to throw over normal clothes. Will try to order a M later for skiing and walking in the cold.

[ Love these! Bought them to snowboard and they were very comfortable, kept me warm, and were very stylish. I like that the inside has a cuffed layer so you can tuck into your socks for extra warmth. I afraid that the velcro for the waist will lose its `` stickiness '' but we shall see. They run large- I usually wear a small in pants, but I fit an XS in these and have to tighten the waistband.

[ I have used these ski bibs about 6 times since purchase and have been very satisfied. My main reason was my old pants would n't keep me dry on a stormy day. The quality of these ski pants are pretty good. Well made and so far seem pretty durable. Bought these for a Colorado ski trip in January and put many miles on these pants in 4 days straight of skiing. For the price you can ’ t beat them. Only problem I had was the sizing. The waistband is adjustable to a point but the overall sizes available weren ’ t fitting right. Either a little too loose or a little too tight. We went with a little too loose for better flexibility in movements. I would definitely buy these again.

One of the best mountaineering pants you can get- durable, breathable, and yet still warm at any altitude. These are my go- to pants for many PNW mountain treks( Mt Adams, Middle Sister, Mt. Hood, etc). The fit is fairly true- to- size, but I would have expected a bit more stretch in the waist. I 'm usually a 32 in most clothing, and M's feel a bit tight. There's plenty of stretch in the legs which makes for easily climbing, but the waist can definitely be a bit annoying. I can wear these without long underwear when its in the 20s and 10s and I 'm just fine. They have a ton of pockets and some vents too. [ This pants has serve me through 15+ snowboarding trips within 3 months. It held up until the 9th trip when a small tear suddenly appear, it was probably from me trying to get the snowboards off the top carrier. Even with the tear it kept me warm enough with 40g it insulation, it would have been nice to get 60 or 100g to keep you warm enough without adding any layers. This was the only boots that has short as an option and has a wide enough pants opening to cover my boots, which isn ’ t too bulky. The color is amazing( mountain red) in person next to the snow. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great snow pants!

skibum2009
The Cushmans are very warm and comfortable, but what sets these apart from other ski pants is how short they are in the inseam for short people. Most `` short '' inseams are 29- 30 and these are more like 27- 28 inches. No one else I know makes pants that short for us shorter people. Great job, Columbia!! Wish you all would come out with some more colors. How about an Azul Blue? Pockets are plentiful( but a little small) yet still has a keyring for your keys to attach to so you hopefully wo n't lose them on the hill. Best ski pants I 've ever owned.

I do n't like reviews that say `` love these '' or some such, since it tells me very little. So... I am 5' 2 and weigh 152 pounds. My inseam is usually 28 inches, no more than 29. I ordered the large and they were perfect in length, landing right at my ankles with a little sag for give in the knees, and for squatting. I have a bit of a straight waist that is short- the waist band is about a 2 inch band that did NOT roll over or down and did not bind so the waist was just right. Fit perfect in the hips, and I have a butt so they stretched without gapping or sagging down in the back. I washed them in warm water, rinsed in cold and hung them up to dry. Dried quickly. They were warm without being hot, did not bunch in the crotch, and I had on jeans over them. Worked outside on the farm and stayed cozy. Went back and bought two more pairs.
5
LilyB
`` Heavyweight '' is a little misleading. The fabric is very thin and see- through. On their own, they do n't feel very warm, but worn under jeans or other pants as intended, they function very well. I forget I 'm even wearing them under jeans, and they keep me very warm on cold mornings. A good comfortable base layer. Got the M and they fit great. I 'm usually a 6- 8 in pant size.

It can protect from rain and wind. It's may have long inseam but it can boot hook on my boot's lace. I wish they have a Deep Forest color in USA because I saw that in Europe website and I did n't know. [ I like that this shell trouser is very quiet compared to other rain pants or snow pants. I also like that there are two big pockets to put hands in.
5
Chris G.
I do not quite understand the concern of the other reviewer. Don ’ t be put off. Because I also have a 30 ” inseam, however find these rain pants to be no issue whatsoever as they feature a draw cord adjustment at the bottom. Therefore they can be cinched tightly around the ankle, making them a perfect fit. In terms of performance, they are excellent. I got a size XS and have a 29 ” waist, and thanks to the adjustment options, they can be worn either over the top of my thick vidda pros, or a smaller base layer. They breathe really well, and keep the rain out, and you nice and warm. These will last a lifetime. If you only want one pair of rain pants, these are hard to beat.
5

[ Bought the Eco Shell to use over the standard Keb trousers in wet and/or snowy conditions. Plenty of room over the trousers for layering purposes. Nice high waist and tapered leg for full coverage in lousy weather. Normally wear a Keb/Vidda Pro in size S and the Evo Shell are perfect with the same sizing. Quiet fabric compared to Goretex Pro trousers I have from another manufacturer but equally as tough and weather resistant.
5
Nick
[ Fit: I 'm 6' 2 '', 165lbs. I usually wear a 32 '' x34 '' pant. I bought a size Medium in the Keb Eco Shell Trouser, and they fit like a 34 '' x34 '' pant. The velcro adjustment at the waist, and the included belt, allow for a comfortable fit( FYI: there are two sets of belt loops:( 1) narrow loops for the supplied belt; and( 2) loops that overlay the first set and accommodate a standard width belt). Performance: I 've worn these on several day hikes in varying winter conditions throughout the Cascades in temps from the 20s to the low 50s. They 're comfortable, very breathable, have excellent mobility when negotiating steep terrain, and kept me warm and completely dry during soaking rains, downpours, and snow. The drawstring at the end of the legs secure the pant over my boots and kept out water, snow and mud so well that I have n't donned my leg gaiters since buying these shell pants. They 've held up well to underbrush, but the shell fabric showed abrasion and slight tearing around the knee when I took a spill on scree. These pants are great. I like all the pockets and features; the look is perfect. These pants run BIG! I am a 5'10 230 lbs, and always wear an XL. These pants are quite large in both the waist and length.

I have had Burton covert and cargo pants for years because it was what I thought was good. These 686 pants are waaaayyyy better in every way. I always wear XL and that is what I ordered knowing the reviews all say they run big, which they do, but I wanted a baggy fit. I use impact shorts and knee/shin guards when I ride. The pants fit perfect over this and do not hinder my mobility like the other brand. The color is awesome and I stay warm and dry all day.

Great fit, awesome features, super warm, and they even look good too! They run a little big, I usually wear a large( 6 ’ 210lbs) but they were falling off of me, so I went with a medium.

[ Love the subtle pattern and they fit perfectly!! Look great with any coat. The extra length is great as I 'm 5 '' 9 and about 135lbs. They are best for warmer skiing as the lining is a tad light.

Bought these for my daughter. Print goes well with almost any jacket but especially dark grey. They come in long, especially hard to find in smaller sizes, so we are thankful. Great fit!

Skiingsolo
Excellent quality and warmth but they are definitely too small to your normal size. You have to size up at least one or two sizes. They are narrow leg fit which is what I was Looking for but the top half didn ’ t match normal sizing at all.

These pants are so cute, fit great, and true to size. USE OBERMEYER ’ S SIZE CHART and take your measurements. I did after a lot of inner debate and the size 10 fits really well! I am 5 ’ 5 ” and 155lbs. Measurements are 29 ” waist, 41 ” hips, 29 ” inseam and because I was mostly worried about these pants fitting my thick thighs, they are each 24. 5 ” around. I am surprised by how well these fit and have never had such flattering ski pants. The fabric has elasticity so it hugs my curves without feeling tight. I paired with the Cosima Jacket in Varsity Blue, perfect match. All the materials seem to be good quality. Strong zippers& fasteners. They are not insulated but are fully lined with fleece. As intended, they are a sporty sleek fit unlike insulated snow pants. They felt warm but will have to test on mtn!

I purchased these pants for my winter adventures in Yellowstone National Park. I planned a photography trip and wanted to make sure I would be warm and dry for the times spent walking through, kneeling or sitting in the snow. While I am a fuller framed gal and chose the XXL size, I did n't feel the fit or look was boxy. I have already recommended these pants to friends.

I just received these pants…they are amazing!! I own a previous edition of these and they only came in regular length. I ’ m so happy they ’ re now available in a 34 ” inseam and the higher waist is sublime!! They work like a charm for my body shape. I think I ’ m going to have to get these updated ones in black too. Steep price, but I have worn my last pair for 4 winters now and they are holding up strong! I am out daily, trekking a couple of hours no matter the weather. This plant is perfect in cold winter months

These trousers are amazing. When the weather gets colder, the extra warmth these provide over the regular Keb trousers don ’ t go unnoticed! I also think the fit is greatly improved over the older Keb trousers but can ’ t speak to the new ‘ improved fit ’ ones. As for the higher waist, unlike the other review, I love this. It complements my figure better than the lower waist and it provides extra protection and warmth, as well as making tucking a base layer or t- shirt in easier and more comfortable. The cost is high but 100% worth it for trousers that will last years. I definitely plan on buying more.

These bibs are amazing. You may think you would lose style/fit/quality with bibs, but you will be very pleasantly surprised and eager to hit the slopes and apres activities in your new bibs. There is waist/hip cinching system that you will love! They are extremely comfortable on, will not inhibit any moves and will add value to your day!! I 'm 5' 6 '', 127 lbs and have them in small/ short. The length is perfect, but if you are over 5' 6 '' and have long legs, go with the regular length.
5
Junebug
After being pleased with my MH shell, I decided to try these bibs and so glad I did. So far they 've been worn skiing and snowmobiling in various conditions, from 28 degrees and snowing 2 '' an hour, pouring rain, and cold dry single digit weather. The waterproofing is superior, and blocks the wind well enough. The fabric is comfortable and does n't feel constricting. I 'm 5' 2 '', about 130 lbs, with pretty beefy legs and butt. The medium short is definitely roomy, which is what I wanted to allow for layering and freedom of movement. I LOVE that there are options for length. This should be standard in the industry! The leg pockets fit a phone perfectly and have stayed waterproof. The chest pockets are more for sunglasses, chapstick etc, and not a phone, but you should n't have your phone right next to your beacon anyways. The zipper works well enough for peeing. It's a pretty easy process. Overall, this bib is just a great no- nonsense product that does exactly what you need it to do: Keep you dry and comfortable.

Bozemanmom
I 'm a long time snow professional. I bought these after an extensive search for bibs that are goretex, flexible upper, hinge seat to answer the call of nature- in nature, smart low bulk design. These fit the bill better than any AND they come in short, regular and tall inseam. I 'm in love.
4
hmb3d
I am 5'10 and based on the size guide I fit a small long. However, the main issue I had was that the torso was too short, even with the straps at maximum length. I do not believe these would fit someone taller than me unless they have a relatively short torso. The quality seemed great, but these bibs would be better if there was a front zipper or if the straps could be unhooked. At its current design, you have to lift the straps over your head which is almost impossible if you also have on a helmet. If the torso length could be adjusted along with the strap issue, this would be a five star product.

Flo
The pants have a great color and I like the quality of the fabric( both the pants and the `` chest '' fabric). They fit big. I 'm 5' 4, 135lbs and the medium are too big. However, the torso is too short for me( I ca n't tighten the straps to get a good upper body fit). Giving 4/5 because of the fit. Otherwise great product.
